Was his knee down 1st, but more importantly they made the rule when giving yourself up even falling forward. that is where the play ends.
Dont think this should be a fumble, unless they rechanged that rule.

I remember a Qb diving for the endzone & the refs said he was giving himself up & the ball was spotted right where his dive was starting.

I remember thinking he was giving himself up he was diving for the score LOL
