Not to mention BK has been 100% wrong all long. Meaning he was saying that we would take a step back under Kerr. Which has been REALLY wrong. BK doesnt want to admit it though because he's not a big fan of the Warriors and is a Mark Jackson lover.

As TF said out in the 2nd round is out in the 2nd round.....And in the Western Conference you can make the case that either 2nd round match-up could be the WCF so that is irrelevant

Well if spurs and okc met in the first compared to the bucks and heat (with lebron) met in the first round. I think thats much different. THat doesnt mean the bucks are as good as OKC......

I don't care if Kerr is better than Jackson. Nobody is really debating that here in this thread. The point that most are trying to make is that the owner comments about Jackson & his staff was really unneccessary 7 months after he fired Jackson.

What is so hard to understand?

You Said they would "take a step back under kerr" you Said "the defense would take a step back under kerr" also... "this team is a 6th seed at best and mark jackson got the most out of our team"....... But go ahead keep avoiding being wrong.

Bk, are you a closet Mark Jackson fan by any chance? I remember you ripping the Warriors when they fired him and again when they hired Kerr. And now you're griping about this.

Lacob was speaking to a bunch of venture capitalists about management strategy. Sounds pretty innocuous to me. Especially at a setting where he is around his peers. You know, the kind of people that make their living on high profile investments such as sports teams. He gave a few nuggets of wisdom and that's that. People love to complain about anything, I guess.

Oh and by the way, the Warriors didn't look at fazed by his comments, judging by the Bulls game. So people can throw that argument in the trash.

I didn't think they would look fazed. I just said that I think they would probably dislike the owner even more than they did in the summer. He does not coach the team so obviously it won't disrupt their play.....Never said this would have some negative impact on the court

Where did I say that in this thread? Put on your glasses.

You're bringing up shit from another thread in this thread. As I said last night, NONE OF US IN THIS THREAD IS DEBATING ABOUT THE 2 COACHES. OUTSIDE OF 2 WARRIORS FAN & WILDTURKEY, THE REST OF US ARE IN AGREEMENT THAT HIS COMMENTS WERE REALLY UNNECCESARY CONSIDERING HE FIRE HIM 7 MONTHS AGO. I actually would not be bothered by his comments at all if he said this in June or July.

And just for the record there are stil 60+ games left in the season. There is no guaranteed that the Warriors even get HCA in the west due to how good the West is. They started 17-2 (which is great) but is only 2.5 away from being in 5th. Lose 3 of 5 in the west and you can drop 4 or 5 spots

People here have 0 idea what was happening at the time. Also have no idea that Jackson wasn't that good of a coach. He had his ups but he just didn't get "the most out of our team" plain and simple

Seriously? :L

Jackson turned around the Warriors and it's early. You think GS is going to win 70 games? How difficult was their schedule to get the 17-2 record? I'll tell you, not very difficult at all. 11 of the teams they have played are at or below .500.

I don't care what was happening to be honest with you.

You do not rip your former coach & his staff 7 months after you fired him. It is childish.

His comments has " look at me" all over it.

The guy is a dick

:agree:

He can't really rip on management anymore. Kerr was a great hire. I was pretty confident in the hire right from the start. It's showing how good of a coach Kerr is compared to jackson

Bookmark this for the end of the season. 25% of the season in and a fairly weak schedule to this point.

They did beat good teams before but point is on this 12 game winning streak, they beat a lot of bad/mediocre teams that they shouls beat.

I don't think the context by which the owner said it should be understated fellas.

They have played most teams or atleast half that or near .500 record. It's not like they played the sixers every night

The Bulls were the first team with a winning record that GSW beat on this streak
