I kind of liked Magna's character until tonight. I hate the whole "How dare you stop me from risking my life to try to be a hero!" angle. Been one too many times.

Sure, but at least they are doing something with the magma group. They did absolutely nothing with them in the books, and I was always very disappointed in that.

Maybe it was Aaron. Sure he is voting to kill him, but he still owes Negan one for saving his life a couple eps back. This him giving Negan a fighting chance rather than face the gallows.

Good thought as well. He just had the convo with Michone where they decided to do ANYTHING to save Lydia, and that Negan was on the right side of this issue.

This is the second time the TV writers have taken a second stab at a single book event. This tells me that they are not planning ahead very well. Does that fall on Angela Kang?

the first one was the Governor attacking the Prison (this was due to a change in Show Runner) and this one is the attack on Lydia (first pass was the attack on Enid)
