will be written off somehow in ep 16, either by death or leaving on their own because of decisions made by Rick.

Well the first spoiler was true. If the second one is also true, it will definitely be unexpected, as there has been nothing to suggest that the character is headed towards leaving the show. (show wise) (real life wise, there have been plenty of suggestions that the actor has not signed a new contract)

Lots of clues that they will be completely abandoning the books moving forward.

After watching this, the main thing I'm wondering is (unless I missed something) if Lauren Cohen does get that rumored pilot how are they going to write her out if it does get made.

I really liked the episode but two things left me really confused. What's with the trio looking at civil war? Show him what? And why did they spend all that time on Oceanside just to have them pick up the scraps?

Darryl has disagreed with Rick forever.....
Maggie has watched her entire family get killed because of stupid decisions by Rick.....
And Jesus, he was treated pretty shitty by Rick when he was first introduced to the show.....

Maybe it's time the show had a new alpha, the Rick thing is getting pretty redundant.

Hopefully this leads to an interesting arc for Daryl. He's been one of my least favorite characters since about season 3 or 4. I can see him and Jesus butting heads quite a bit. I wouldn't mind seeing Daryl be the devil on Maggie's shoulder and Jesus being the angel on the other.

We rewound it like 4 times and them froze the image and STILL had no idea what they were talking about. The second showing was clear, though.

No named deaths? In a season finale? Interesting.

So Rick can slice someone’s throat and simply say “save him” and he lives? And is talking shortly after? Either Rick is a true magic man or Siddiq is the greatest doctor ever.

Why is Jesus part of the “three”? He is all about peace and forgiveness. No way would he conspire with Maggie in that fashion. Unless what they are planning is not at all what they made it seem.

Is Dwight gone? Darryl taking over the arc just doesn’t make sense. They are too different. And how would they write Daryl into Santuary? Is Tara going to be the new Dwight??? That would suck, but I can see some seeds of that.

Does the Savior at Hilltop have a name?

I liked the final fight between Rick and Negan in the books better. It better showed Negan’s humanity and Rick’s savageness.
