What if Beth turns out to have been abducted by them and is now their Queen, comes out all transformed and freaky? I don't read the comics so I have no idea if this is plausible.

Great ending though. Loved Rick's last line. So badass. Would have been better with an F-bomb though.

On Talking Dead Andrew Lincoln said that's what he thought the line should be too, and I think they might have even done a take with it. It seems strange that they never use it seeing as how the show is as "R" rated as it gets, and its sister show "Breaking Bad" used it all the time. At first I thought Carol said it under her breath at one point during the season 2 premiere, but I believe I was mistaken.

Definitely some cult-like deal going on in Terminus. I may be wrong and will have to review the tape, but I believe both Mary and Gareth initially said the same thing to Maggie's group and Rick's group ("looks like you've been on the road a good bit"). Then the food offer. Pretty cultish behavior. I think Gareth looks a lot like Chris in the comics.

A few of the areas where Rick's group was being led looked as if it had been shot up before. They've had experience doing this before. They had the timing down perfect with different doors being shut, etc. Whether that is how Maggie's group was forced into the railcar or not I assume will be revealed next season. I do think the wood floor boards and the bag of weapons buried by Rick will come into play as they escape their current predicament.

I loved "the Claimers" demise scene. Straight out of the comics except it was Abraham, Rick, and Carl. Joe asks the same exact thing as the dude in the comics did when bear hugging Rick. That was fucking awesome.

So you guys think that even with all the well planned herding of their captives and all their other protocols apparently in place, the termites overlooked something like dry rotted wood panel floor boards in the rail car that could possibly allow their prisoners an obvious opportunity to escape??

Maybe the train car is a sort of quarantine for them...to protect their own peeps from anything contagious newcomers might have.

Negative. It's for storage. You store them there, and keep them alive until you're ready to kill and eat them.

And yes, you CAN over look something like rotten floorboards.

Reminder: Frank Morris and the Anglin bros. escaped from Alcatraz because years of salt air corroded the cell walls.

I'm not saying that's what's going to happen, but it wouldn't surprise me.

Also, don't forget one of the men in that car is a genius.

I don't think he is. I think he's full of it.

If he was a genius, he'd fill someone else in on the plan as an insurance policy if he dies.

Plus, he seemed all to willing to abandon the plan and not head straight to DC

Eugene has somehow convinced Abraham that he's some scientist genius who knows important people in Wash. D.C. and needs to get there with the help of military personnel to work on the zombie cure, when in fact (according to the comic storyline) he's a junior high school science teacher from Houston with zero real world know how or survival skills.

Rosita is probably more of a "genius" than he is.....lol

Unless of course he's more concerned with saving himself than the world, as many people would be.

Maybe his insurance policy is the fact that he has kept it to himself so that others will need to keep him alive.

That doesn't make him a genius that can save the world, that just makes him smarter than the fucktard next to him.

The guy in the woods being surrounded and attacked by all those zombies had to have been one of the termites who was on watch +/or maintenance assignment to check on the terminus signs along the tracks....and to alert the other termites that people are approaching the gates.

I think even the pack of walkers that made Rick and them leave their "camp", with the lone guy begging for help out in the middle of nowhere, was a set up, to keep them moving towards terminus. I think they have been watching their every move for awhile now.

I'm convinced the houses along the tracks are controlled by terminus. Remember, they looked spotless...no dust, food neatly stacked in cupboards, little to no destruction.

I think it was a "plant" to keep em' moving, and not allowing them to "settle in" somewhere. With the rabbit-hunting scene en sech, it almost implied they were going to set up for awhile.

If he's lying about it then yes, which is a possibility but that wasn't my point.

My point is that if he does truly hold the answer, then sure there could be reason not to share it with others. Therefore the fact that he has not, doesn't necessarily mean he's lying.

From what I remember from the episode about Abraham's discussions with Glenn & Tara, it wasn't Eugene who convinced Abe, rather it was Abe simply following orders to get Eugene to DC. Remember, Abe stated to Glenn & Tara that they were in contact with DC up until roughly a week or so prior to meeting up with Glenn & Tara, and then contact with DC was broken.

When Shane heard the radio broadcast in 2.1, was it a Terminus broadcast? I don't remember exactly what he heard on the radio...
Watched the episode last night. It was just a broadcast the the Civil Defense.

I never read the comics but the moment I saw that Eugene guy, I had a feeling he was a liar and was using that as protection since he has poor survival skills and wouldn't make it on his own and what solidified that thought for me, was when they were under attack and he was struggling with the gun to kill the Walker. He doesn't know jack shit, IMO, just using that as a scapegoat to be kept alive and protected.
