I think you will get what you wish for and early on in the next season. Here's hoping Season 5 will have all the bloodshed I crave, they have a great opportunity to get intense with the script.

I see this as being a full season battle with maybe some Termites or new people coming in to take different sides. At the end either Rick's group owns the place or limps out again. No question they will get back to the bag. My only question is how long the Termites will last. Will this be an 8-ep arc, or a full 16-ep arc?
Assuming the Termites are essentially the Hunters (I think it is safe to make that assumption), they will need to introduce a LOT of fresh material if they make it a 16-ep arc. IIRC, the Hunters only lasted one trade pub. FWIW, the Termites are different enough from the Hunters that it is completely foreseeable that they could last 16 eps.
What 5-7? I would think Rick, Maggie,Glenn and Judith to my top 4. Abraham and Eugene (Who the fuck is in Washington for mullethead to help with a cure anyway?) might last to keep that going. Bob seems to have 9 lives and Daryl because of fan-base to the show. They stray enough from the comics in the show, that it is hard to spoil, except in very vague, wide-arching ways. For example, Andrea is still alive in the comics and is a very major character. Also, it was a different character that was killed by the Gov with the sword in the comics. Dale was still alive in the comics at this point in the story. Beth, Tara and Daryl do not exist in the comics.
That said, I do believe there are a few characters that are important enough (at least short-ish term) that they cannot be killed yet. I will refrain from those types of spoilers (or at least I will try).
I think that the battle with the Termites could end up being quite bloody. "Worst" case scenario, I can see 11 characters who COULD be killed, but I would expect up to about 6 of the current crop of "good guys" biting it in the coming season.
The "Good Guys", right now are...
Rick
Carl
Michone
Daryl
Beth
Maggie
Sasha
Bob
Glenn
Tara
Abraham
Rosita
Eugene
Carol
Tyreese
Judith
I consider 5-7 of these to be "untouchable".
Forgot about Carl...I wonder why? True about Mullet Boy but he can shoot a gas tank with great accuracy. I think Beth will show up at some point if not for a short time.Rick, Maggie, Glenn, Judith, Carl, Darly would be my guess for the ones who will make it or ''untouchable'' I'm still waiting for Carol to be killed off, can't stand her. Beth i'm sure will show up dead somehow or by some miracle, find everybody.
I still think the guy with the ''cure'' or knows what happened, is still bullshitting and will eventually be killed. The guy has no survival instincts.

I specifically did not mention who my 5-7 were since I read the comics. I am TRYING to remain spoiler-free
And you do. It must be hard!I specifically did not mention who my 5-7 were since I read the comics. I am TRYING to remain spoiler-free
One can hope.......I wouldn't mind seeing Carl killed off, but if they haven't done it yet, I don't think they will.

He might have finally purged his mom's attitude out of him. Time will tell.Agreed. But he doesn't bother me anymore as much as he used to.

Forgot to mention that I did check that out and it was a message by the Civil Defense. When Shane heard the radio broadcast in 2.1, was it a Terminus broadcast? I don't remember exactly what he heard on the radio...

I thought that the Fort was going to be the way after the farm. Feel free to give up some info about how things might change. I do know that they have no real clue how the comics will reflect the show but some ideas can be passed across. We have until fall now.TY
I have been too busy to go back to that ep and check it out.
However, this did remind me of something pretty major...
Before S4 started, one of the teaser images that got a lot of people pretty excited was a shot of Fort Bennig. Many (myself included) thought that was where the group would go post-prison (it does not exist in the comics, btw).
However, this never appeared in the show. Too bad. I would have liked to see our group come across a military installation. That could make for some fun times.

Clear is a top 3 episode. Lennie James is an excellent actor. I can't wait.

Just a follow up on that Terminus broadcast. It was when Daryl was on the run for supplies for the outbreak in the prison. , an animal hospital if I remember.TY
