BTW: Now that Rick is back to full on rage mode, and he's just had a taste of human flesh//blood, albeit raw....do you think it propels him to somehow will himself and his group out of that train car and eventually out of Terminus?

Also...from what I understand, Abraham is a major character in the comics....so some new alliances will surely be made moving forward.

If it does indeed turn out that the termites are cannibals, do you think they ever considered going vegetarian before hand.....or what about doing a little fishing instead....I mean even if they are piss poor hunters?

To gain their trust. They knew they had superior firepower and it got the group to go along with them.

Sorry, that makes no sense to me. Without weapons, the four of them would have no choice but to go along.

Sure it does. If you take their weapons, they can still make a run for it and get away. If you give them the weapons back, they'll follow you as you give them the guided tour.

And remember, Rick caught on before they were ready.

Who knows what the original plan was. Was the food they were going to eat poisoned? Drugged? Would the tour eventually have taken them to a room where they were surrounded by men with guns and you take control of them there?

This.

A pacified, armed opponent is less dangerous than an angry, unarmed one.

Also, remember, they entered through the "back door" and surprised them on their flank. Best to make nice until they can get into a better position. I suspect the food that they share with outsiders is drugged.

I am not really sure what it means to be a "season regular" on this show. Morrisey was a "season regular" for S4, but the Gov was killed in 4.8. Same with Scott Wilson. Both of them were listed during the opening title segment. However, Chad Coleman and Emily Kinney (for example) were both "season regulars" as well, but they were not included in the title sequence.

Apparently, Abraham and Eugene were "season regulars" this season as well, but their names were not even included in all episodes (I mean after 4.10, when they were introduced).

A character is just a "guest star" or "reoccurring character" until they appear on the title sequence, IMHO.

I expect Cudlitz and MAYBE Coleman to be added to the title sequence for S5 (along with the actor who plays Gareth).

Exactly.

Just prior to the chase through the Terminus compound, Michonne asked why are the Termites doing this (being so inviting to outsiders). The one Termite answered something along the lines of "when you are part of us, we become stronger".......yikes, that's what the function of food is!

Also, the Terminus memorial room with all the candles was creepy with all the names of people written on the floor. Perhaps this room represents the homage paid to those whose lives are sacrificed to nourish the rest of the Termites...the victims of cannibalism are revered and honored in this manner.

Other observations--
If you recall the 'herding scene' through the Terminus, at one point Rick's fleeing group ran past some large metal storage containers, and you could hear the screams of prisoners calling for help...one of the voices was female, perhaps Beth and/or Carol.

Finally, I believe the train car floor is wooden...and I believe Rick's buried stash of weapons just outside the fence will come into play.
I listened as best as I could after replaying that part and couldn't recognize either the man or the woman voice. Not sure who they are.

When Shane heard the radio broadcast in 2.1, was it a Terminus broadcast? I don't remember exactly what he heard on the radio...
I have that on DVR. I will go back and look for it. They might be cannibals. I just state this because I have only seen them offer meat as a meal. Big chunks of steak type...not chicken or small bird, rodent.

It didn't seem to matter? They were guiding them right where they wanted them, missing intentionally the whole way. They seemed ready for whatever. Obviously Rick may have sped it up.

Tangentially, the whole place definitely has a satanism or cult vibe, and it seems a possibility that cannibalism is a part of it, as they've focused on the meals/meat twice now. Maybe they make them eat the meat before telling them, try to turn them into cannibals to support their cause...if you won't eat it, then you are eaten?

Something....gonna be a long summer...may have to re-watch the series from start.

I will need o make a point of re watching 2.1 this week.

Wasn't there one other radio reference sometime during the run of the show (other than the herd in 4.3)?

Other than Rick trying to call out in the first season I don't recall. You seem to remember so much about these episodes than I do for sure.

anyone notice the skull & bones in the cyclone fence, when rick & co. ran outside as they were being corralled into the back train area. The bones looked pretty picked clean.

I missed that ,I will look again. I did notice the letter 'A' appearing when they were being lead but not sure what to make of it.

Ok..so here's my take...the terminites knew their every move. Knew of the back-door entrance, knew HOW they would react. They were fully prepared. The creepy cook lady said to them immediately, "oh, I heard of your backdoor entrance" or what have you?

I think the terminites have scouted rick, the prison, woodbury....the whole railroad path is rigged. All the houses rigged...set up with food and atmosphere (creepy painting of the griller) to ensure they arrive.

I think even the radio transmissions were "aimed" at them if you will?

Just leading the lambs to slaughter. The Church room er whatever, has to be their fallen loved ones, cuz of the trinkets by their names and the writings on the wall...they musta been burned bad, and became the aggressor but in a strategic way.

Ok, this I agree with. Feeding them some drugged Beth - I mean, food - makes perfect sense.

What if Beth turns out to have been abducted by them and is now their Queen, comes out all transformed and freaky? I don't read the comics so I have no idea if this is plausible.

Great ending though. Loved Rick's last line. So badass. Would have been better with an F-bomb though.
