I did not think Negan was dead, I thought he was potentially hiding, or on a supply run, or banging some chick at another camp. I was not aware that what they raided was an outpost. Now I am thanks to this thread.

I'll admit I misinterpreted that statement as him being there. I assumed everyone in there got annihilated and there was no one left, and forgot about the guy who had Daryl's bike.

How many more episodes are there this season? With all the action last episode, I figured this Sunday must be the finale, but judging on the comments here, there's still some more to go.

And how the fuck did no one from Team Rick even get shot or stabbed?

As to how no one got stabbed, I'm sure if they brought Alexandria fodder they would have been put down. I have an idea why no one died, but it's kinda spoiler-y, given I've read the comics.

This idea always bothered me about Rick (especially at this time in the comics). He is SOOO confidant that he can defeat the Saviors, even though he LITERALLY knows NOTHING about them. He knows that they have enough people to have raiding parties (at least 2 - the group Daryl blew up and at least one group that handles Hilltop), yet does not take the logical next step to realize that that takes organization and strength. The whole All Out War arc made me actually lose a lot of respect for Rick. He is a cocky moron. And his defeat of Negan proved that he actually is capable of war crimes (he attacked and "defeated" Negan during a summit, under a white flag)

I'm a big fan of Vikings, and it has entire story arcs (so far this season!) where not much happens.

But they've earned enough credit with me to be optimistic that the payoff will be coming.

Ragnar is sick. Floki is tied up. Oldest son is communing with nature. C'mon, make something happen!

But I know that the show will have a payoff that makes wading through these early episodes worth it.

Anyone concerned it will be Michone that meets Lucile? They have tried so hard to milk what happens in the comics that I would be surprised if it happens but something big goes down and with how Rick can't find peace it would make an interesting turn.

I really doubt Michone will be the one. She is too much of an anchor on the show.

Besides, can you imagine the PC explosion if they kill off a bad-assed black woman like that?

It will be Abe. (Totally a guess. Not influenced by comic knowledge)

There is a chance it is Morgan, but I think they have made him too unlikeable at this point, it would lack the power it needs to have.

Glenn, Daryl, Abe and Carol all fill that bill. But I don't think PC will allow it to be a woman. Too brutal.
