The one lone exception that I'd make regarding blowouts is the L.A. Rams, who desperately need something that will put asses in seats. Winning will do, but L.A. is a funny marketplace in which it takes a bit more than close wins to attract the stars and make it the "chic" thing to do on a Sunday.

Agreed. But the Rams, Chargers, and at some point the Raiders.. being in a new Market will need to attract the fans. The Browns and Giants being 0-9 would NOT sit to well in the NFL front office. Thats why I think you will see the Niners and/or the Browns get a win this weekend. Got to do something to keep the home fan base interested. he Niners played us to a two point game, thats a team IM glad we wont see again going forward. The Refs are going to keep those two games close this weekend.

Blow outs are not good for the NFL viewership. The Refs are going to make some shitty calls every week. The Redskins are not yet one of those teams that are going to get that Ref call every time.

IM going to call it now, the Niners or the Browns are going to win this coming weekend, there will be some reffing involved. The Refs aint there to be fair and impartial.

You could be rt (& let's hope so for the 49ers). However I would state that I believe that the 49ers are better than the Browns & the Browns are the worst team in the NFL by far. With the exception of opening week the 49ers have been barely losing their games & primarily to pretty good teams (I know a loss is still a loss). The Browns - on the other hand - are either getting blown out or primarily losing to bad teams.

Agreed the Browns are just a bad team. But they also have an established fan base, and I expect them to be loaded with talent over the next few years. What they lack is a GM that knows how to use the rack of draft picks they have coming up. Expect a change there in the next few weeks.

Agree. They have 2 picks in just about every round next year & most of those will be high ones. However it is no guarantee that they will pick wisely - I hope so since I feel bad for their fans. They also need to pull the trigger & use their top pick on a QB. They need stop dicking around w/ all of these so-so QBs.

I actually like Kizer... but I dont think they have the talent around him. And they have no patience as a front office at this point. They need some one in there to change the culture, as even the top draft picks look at it as.. I just need to survive my rookie contract and do decent so I can get to someplace other than the Browns. Cleveland is where you go to do one of two things.

1. Show out as an individual player for your next contract
2. Die in terms of NFL life.

Actually was thinking the same thing. But thats going to depend on how good a job Bruce did at Character assassination when it comes to SMGM.

Damn man it appears that we're using very similar brain cells on this one. I just was discussing this with another friend and said almost word for word what you just posted.

True but this is the NFL & things can change quickly. Look at the current Rams & Jags. They have both been terrible in the recent past but show signs of being a playoff contender - if not this season then certainly next season. The same could happen in CLE w/ the rt person running the show. They certainly have a good fan base - they have just been the victim of a poor organization in the recent past. Hmm - seem familiar?

What they need is Kevin Costner from the movie "Draft Day" - lol.
