I'd be delighted, but very surprised if we see Kouzmanoff again. His back has been a mess for years and years. Hope optimism is rewarded though.

And can someone tell me how many games he played 1st for us this season?

I hear what you're saying. Choo and Fielder eat up a lot of the payroll, I have no doubt both of them will be firing on all cylinders next April. However, we've tried the " give Moreland a chance" thing for 3 years in a row now and it hasn't panned out. Decent Right handed bats are not hard to come by, I just mentioned Cruz and Morales as the premium choices. I would've gladly welcomed Jeff Baker back to DH over Mitch. Hopefully they go with Kouzmanoff next year if the guy proves himself in spring training again.

I don't remember anyone here saying we absolutely had to keep him and "give him another chance" it was more like, well he's cheap...we've spent a lot of money, he can rest Fielder...

I can guess the F.O. might have been thinking the same thing

Not sure if anyone answered this question as there are too many posts to catch up on but pretty sure Chirinos played first for us some last year. I will not be surprised if Gallo makes an appearance if we are out if it when the rosters expand in September.

I agree. If memory serves, he was hitting about .350 for the season when he went down.

Do you know how many games he played (approximately) at 1st? Sorry....I'm asking about Kouz.

Joey Gallo called up to Frisco. Someone else probably posted this, but I am excited for him. He will probably need TOS surgery in like two weeks, because he's that much closer to being a Ranger.
