Texas always has talent. It is the coaching that has sucked on a continual basis. After you kick Pee Wee to the curb and get a real coach that deserves to be at a flagship university, you'll be hell on wheels again.

Herman has done a great job with managing the roster and adding quality depth. Strong recruited well but his highest class which was like #8 was due to signing 29 players. Last cycle Herman did that with only 21 players.

But you are right, if anything, Tom has set up the next coach with a healthy roster. His lowest class is this season's senior class which was a transition class. He followed that up with back to back top 5 classes and #8 last cycle.

I agree, he has to get it done. But he's safe for 2020, unless he completely shits the bed. Saying that though, he has set up the next coach with a good roster compared to what Strong inherited from Mack and what Tom inherited from Strong.
