1. Calvin Johnson - This is guy is at the top of the mountain, and is not coming down any time soon. Taking any other WR over him at this point would be questionable to say the least.

2. Brandon Marshall - Truly dominates the game. An unstoppable force to be reckoned with. Does not have the talent level of Calvin, so that's what keeps him here.

3. Andre Johnson - The only consistency the Texans truly had this season on offense. He's always been there through everything, and defenses still haven't found a way to stop him.

4. A.J. Green - What can you say about this guy? Everything. Has all the talent in the world, and can make any play you ask him to. This guy is the future.

5. Demaryius Thomas - Mini Calvin. This guy is an animal. Plays with reckless abandon, and dominates games. He's right there with A.J. Green. These 2 guys will dominate the game for years to come.

6. Larry Fitzgerald - One of the hardest working, most likable players in the NFL. Hasn't put up wow like numbers lately, but he has played on some of the worst offensive teams you will ever see.

7. Antonio Brown - This guy has been the model of consistency on a struggling Steelers offense. He deserves to be on this list.

8. Josh Gordon - I struggled with him. Didn't know where to put him on the list. But I know he deserves a spot. This guy is playing like a young Calvin Johnson. A future star in this league.

9. Alshon Jeffery - The beast opposite of Metal Marshall. Had a dominant season, and is sure to continue dominating. He's just an overpowering force.

10. Jordy Nelson - You can put a lot of guys here, but I had to give it up to Nelson. This guy has been consistently great for the Packers for 3 years now. He deserves some recognition.

What do you guys think? A lot of great WRs in this league now. You could argue for a lot of WRs not on this list. Just wanted to get some discussion started. And WR talk usually gets it going.

DeSean Jackson, Julio Jones, and Dez Bryant would probably be in my top ten. Not sure who I would kick off of your list to achieve that though, other than probably Jordy Nelson

I'm a fan of Julio, but he's only played one full season. He needs to work off the injury bug and get consistent. I can't trust him. DeSean and Dez are definitely top notch. Its a tough call, but they do belong in the conversation. Their attitudes cause them to disappear in games sometimes though. That's what kept them off my list.

I'd agree with that. And I think AJ Green is easily #2 behind Megatron.

Maybe, but I've got to respect the 2 veterans who have dominated the game for a long time. A.J. will probably unseat them for me if he has another unbelievable season.

I like that you put Alshon in there.(His hands are remarkable.) But Id have to put DeSean in too. No disrespect to Jordy Nelson, he'd be getting bumped. Pierre Garçon and Anquan Boldin are two others Id be tempted with putting in there, along with Jones and Bryant who were mentioned earlier. Like you said though, a lot of good receivers in the game today. Everybody can't be top ten.

Cordarralle Patterson. Better to be early to the party then late.

DeSean is an amazing talent, but the stats just aren't there. This is his first 1000+ yard season in 3 years. This is only the 2nd time he's played a full season. I just can't put my trust in him as a #1 WR. That's just me. Garcon and Boldin are for sure 2 very good WRs, but they lack the talent level of some of these other guys. Their production doesn't really wow you either. Though Garcon was dominant this past season I'll give you that. I just don't view them in the same light as these other guys though.

The guy is pure lightening in a bottle. I love watching him play the game. Can't wait to see what he can do in the future.

That's a really really good list there man. Very accurate...or at least accurate to how I would have put them.

I think the best one I like on that list is Brandon Marshall at #2. A lot of people overlook this guy. Everyone is so enamored with the speed of guys like Julio Jones, Desean Jackson, etc. But I'll take Marshall's combination of size (not just height but pure strength as well), speed, hands, route running and most importantly toughness. I believe Marshall is the only WR to truly have a good game against Richard Sherman so far in his career.

As for DT and AJ Green. At first I thought he should be ahead of Green, but considering the two different QB situations it's hard to judge. DT benefits a lot from having Peyton and AJ at times has a crutch with Dalton (although Dalton puts up a lot of yards)

Also love having Jordy on that list. He's everything Eric Decker wishes he was. Jordy proved himself this year putting up excellent numbers despite not having Rodgers for a good chunk of the year

Even being a GT homer, I can't logically put DT over Green. He may be more physical and faster, but Green has him beat in pretty much everything else. And yeah, Marshall is the most physical WR in football. That's what I love about him. You need the physicality to really get in the secondary's head and make them think they can't defend you.

I'm sorry, but I can't take a list seriously that doesn't have A.J. Green in the top 5. That guy is pure dominance in every sense. And I do like Julio, but again, he needs to get over that injury bug and find some consistency.

AJ has alligator arms (maybe because of that Steelers game awhile back) and cost his team in the playoffs. I actually think he is a tad bit overrated. He isnt as physical as a lot of the other receivers on the list

I'd take Larry Fitzgerald off the list actually. From 2005-2011 he was incredible, but since 2012 he has dropped off a ton. If he were to retire today he would have my vote for the hall of fame, but he is no longer a dominant player, I just don't see how you can put him in the top 10 for any other reason than his pre-2011 performance.

Doug Baldwin is an underrated player, but he is not even the best WR on the Seahawks roster and we have a below average WR corps. Baldwin is not even in the discussion for top 30 WRs in the NFL IMO. Not saying he is a bad player, just not a great one.

2011: 65 catches 1057 yards 7 TD
2012: 97 catches 1350 yards 11 TD
2013: 98 catches 1426 yards 11 TD
Total: 260 catches 3833 yards 19 TD

I don't think there are more than 5 players who have had a better 3 year stretch than A.J. Green.

All I know is he's been extremely dominant ever since entering the league. How did he cost his team? I don't see it. What I see is this. His 3 year stat line:

260 rec, 3,833 yards, 14.7 ypc, and 29 TDs. The production speaks for itself. Playing for an inconsistent Bengals offense as well.

That's an extreme stance to take. I understand the lack of production, but I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt for one more season. If he doesn't crack the 1000 yard mark this season, I'll agree with you. But at this point, I'd have to say that its due to the largely inept Cardinal offense. It got better with Palmer, but it still hasn't hit any consistency.

Fitzgerald still had less yardage than Michael Floyd despite having been targeted 136 times to Floyd's 112. The Cardinals passing offense produced 4274 yards, the most since 2009. Fitz did a hell of a lot more with Kevin Kolb and John Skelton than he did with Carson Palmer, who is the better QB of the three.

I've got nothing but respect for what Fitz did before 2012, but since 2012, Larry Fitzgerald has just not been the dominant player he use to be.

I just have confidence in Fitz's abilities to work hard and come back and play well next season. His production over time speaks for itself and earns him on spot on most people's list. I understand the lack of production scaring you off though. We'll see what happens this season. I'm rooting for him. He really is a great guy.
