It has a very strong First Blood feel to it, imho.

There are a series of James Reece books, and Prime and Carr (the author) are apparently interested in doing more seasons. Not sure how Reece can continue after this season, though. I would be interested in watching, if just to get that explanation.

On episode 6, curious of the outcome. I can guess, but hope I am wrong.

Also, hoping EZ from the Mayans turns out to help.

Just once I want a show like this to have the best friend type character be simply just that, the he was in on it the whole time plot is fucking obnxiously overplayed.

I got the same exact feeling about First Blood and it only got deeper as I watched it. Quite a few similarities. I was so hung over on Sunday I literally watched the entire thing. Not sure if they can keep going unless his rich buddy in Mexico has a Dr that can remove the tumors.

Not only the tumor, but the fact that he is considered a terrorist atm as well.

The only path I see is if they somehow cure the tumor (the Mexican friend/uncle/tio) and then have him go some kind of A-Team route. The reporter could act as a kind of handler for him and his team du jour.

Makes sense. If he manages to get his hands on his friends 20 mil he can fit out a team. As long as there's bloody mayhem I'll give it a look

No need for spoiler tags, though. This is a spoiler thread.

Only 4 episodes in, but damn this is good.

I do have a suspicion about the best friend too. Hope I'm wrong but its a theory that keeps on getting easier for me to digest as it unfolds.

Yeah, we liked it. The GF is beginning to realize that avoiding anything with any kind of violence means only watching fix-up rubbish on HGTV and woke gay stuff on Hallmark.

In a world where felons are released onto the streets, it's nice to see bad guys get swift, sure and permanent justice.

For those that liked Terminal List I'd suggest special ops Lioness on Paramount. Similar. Almost as good.
