It does look fabulous! The outer brick wall is an ode to old Memorial Stadium - which I visited (walk through) before they tore it down.
That stadium screams 'college football'. If I had to envision what a college football stadium should look like it would be something just like that one.

Fans don’t just fill up the stadium here. On game days, Lake Washington, which sits just outside the field, is packed with boats filled with fans.

Tennessee has the Vol Navy Too that boats to the Stadium on the Tennessee River. A Washington-Tennessee home and home would be a really cool series.

Bryant Denny should be on there but a majority of their games back in the day were played at Legion Field in Birmingham.

A couple of stadium/games that are most fondest memories.

Michie Stadium at West Point isn't a particularly great football venue but the entire experience is without comparison. The Academy, the Corps of Cadets, etc.

Fortunately, I saw one of the better Army teams play against Utah in 1957. Pete Dawkins was on Army's team and won the Heisman the following season. Lee Grosscup was Utah's QB.

I attended the 2002 USC-UCLA game at the Rose Bowl in Carson Palmer's Heisman season. That was also quite an experience.

I've walked through Michie, but I have not been to a game there yet. Additionally, I went to the 2004 USC @ UCLA Game on a cold day in Pasadena! It wasn't cold enough for UCLA to win, but the Angelinos in attendance came in their winter gear. :) That was a GREAT experience.

I got an especially big chill when I looked up to the press box and saw Keith Jackson. That was almost a religious experience.

Putting my binoculars on the Song Girls was spiritually enriching also.
