This is going to be the theme of the season obviously.

So, give your choice and back it up with reasoning.

Apologizes if this is buried in another thread somewhere.

I already have my pick and I've seen everybody in the Top 15 play. Give it later.

Nothing is going to happen until March. No team in the SEC can stay with that bunch. They are simply tooooo big and too physical.

You can pick any team in the country. The point was who has the most proper personel to attack UK's weakness.

No team matches up with UK inside. When a team can platoon in bigs like UK can...there are just too many fouls to give and the beating a team takes being on the receiving end of those fouls is something special.

I think it will take a team getting red hot from 3.

I also think it will take a team getting hot from behind the arc, coupled with the Cats having a really poor offensive night. As of right now, the Cats having a poor offensive night is far more likely, than not, although hopefully that will change. Until it does change, however, any team can get hot from the 3, yes, even within the SEC, which is why I still hold that the Cats will lose at least 1 game in conference, and it will most likely be to a team they to which they aren't "supposed" to lose.

Greetings to my favorite 'Cuse fan on the planet, and also to one of the coolest Gators I've ever e-met.

Maybe douggies boys jonvi...IMO Duke seems likely to match up against UK better than just about anyone else. Other choices...maybe Wisky or Zona....

But since UK did win I guess it's time to celebrate with a beer...

Hey cali...good to see you again

Arizona has the size to match Kentucky.

7 foot Zeus, 6'8" Ashley, 6'7 RHJ, 6'7 Stanley Johnson, 7'0 Ristic.

I would love to see them go head to head this year.

I see Arizona as being similar to Louisville, wrong style of play to beat UK, especially on a neutral floor as it would have to be. I can't imagine anyone trying to match up and just get after it straight up with UK. That said, I think that like Louisville, Arizona has the great D to get to the final 4

Arizona's defense would keep them in any game vs. anyone in the country. It would be a slugfest.

Bias aside, Arizona has much better wings than Louisville and more depth. I'm not saying they would win for sure or anything, but I think it would be a close game and come down to the wire. Yes, they just had a bad loss on the road, but when they play locked in, they are pretty scary.

Arizona is very similar to Louisville IMO, and would be dead even with them on a neutral court. Louisville's D today was just outstanding, and their on ball pressure from the guard spots is something. I think if both teams played their best game, UK would beat Zona by 12-14, but of course, teams don't always play their best. I know I haven't looked forward to the tourney this much in 10 years. UK, Louisville and Arizona are great defensive teams with super athletes, Virginia Wisky, and Gonzaga are experienced teams with great structure on offense, and Duke, Texas and Kansas are teams that have the talent to beat anyone. There are going to be several titanic games during March Madness

Congrats Tango and all. Good win for the Cats. I picked UK to win this one. I didn't watch much of it as I was tuned in to a good bowl game most of the afternoon. I flipped it back and forth. There just isn't many teams, if any, that can take down UK this season. I would love for Duke to play them in the Finals. I don't care to see them before then if at all possible. But that means the Devils have to make it there. I'd say Wisconsin has the size and style game that could slow them down to their speed and maybe control tempo. But it will take an off game by some of the Wildcat players for them to lose and a big shooting night from their opponents. UK is just plain loaded.

The team most likely to take down UK...

just lost to UK by 8 points.

the mystery this year is determining the best team in the country not named Kentucky...
the achievement everybody's striving for isn't to win a national championship...
it's being first runner up.

I think they'll go undefeated during the regular season. If they lose, it'll probably be to someone that no one saw coming, like Ole Miss or Georgia. Just your average conference upset loss.
