No, they're changing the format, but everyone hates the new format. I have no idea where I'm going to talk football now.

In the current format the board is in, yep it's going down.

They created some goofy ass, facebook-like board to replace it, and everything else. It blows, to say the least.

Tomorrow is the day espn is to pull the plug on it.

I'm just glad I came here. Anyone that wants to talk sports like me esp hockey and football forget it over there.

There are a few posters left I would like to see come over but apparently they like the same babbling bullshit that goes on there and most of it (esp on the football board) is not even about the fucking sport so............fuckum!

I'm going to miss all the good Redwings posters that I could not talk into joining this board. They all said they weren't gonna move, but there's been no activity there in weeks by any of the old regulars.

What I find strange is even the posters when I peeked over there were ALL bitching about the new format. So maybe they don't want a board and as you said will "pull the plug" on it. For real.

It amazes how all the good hockey talk there used to be intermingled with trash. When you read the old board, it was like digging for fossils trying to find the quality discussions.

I love this place, especially during the season. SportsHoopla is light-years better than that swampy bog.

The boards there have undergone changes numerous times and each time most users have hated the changes. I would not be surprised to see the majority of the posters that still use them to stay.
