The Steelers right now have three 3rd round picks in the 2026 draft. Depending on the final bonuses Wilson gets with the Giants it is possible they will have four 3rd round picks. Definitely going all in for a QB in that draft, using that draft capital to trade up.
Problem is if they sign Rodgers they are going for a 8 or 9 win team. That won't be in the running for a top 10 pick...or just make a great pick like the Big Ben pick.
Use future picks 1's or 2's to trade up for a QB...it doesn't seem like a Steelers move but possible.

Pickens has talent, but he doesn't get the most out of it. The Steelers have not been shy with diva WR's and will put up with a lot...when you are ELITE, most any team will (and has).

Like I said about Sanders - when you are not viewed as ELITE, your bullshit doesn't make the juice worth the squeeze. Same here...when a team known for working with Diva WR's isn't willing to work with you...time to look in the mirror a bit and figure out how to get the most from your talents.

Of course, for some - it just won't matter. They'll still get that 2nd solid contract based on "potential" that the new team will crack the nut and get them to perform...maybe they do in a contract year...I guess we'll see. At least Dallas is known for not giving a flying F - about what players think about their contracts...so, in that manner, likely won't be a huge distraction since it's business as usual for Jerry-world...

Yep, they sign Rodgers this team is a mitigated disaster being near .500. Not saying the picks would guarantee a move up but it gives them the capital to build around. I don't have high hopes around this.

Seriously though. I am looking forward to see Pickens play with a real QB for once. You had glimpses of his talent with Wilson but if Dak gets him the ball it could be fun to watch.

The Cowboys now have a 1 & 1A at the WR position……the potential is very high…..

Potentially a cancer in the locker room....
Yeah it's a risk, but for a 3rd round pick? To me, a talent like that, it's worth a shot. Not only is Dak the best QB he will have played with, Dak is also a Hell of a leader. I wouldmy underestimate that part of it

Yes, but what about the other 11 games a year when Dak is hurt?

He's led them to a 2-5 playoff record

I'm confused.

I thought the Cowboys didn't need another wideout* to play with lamb
