Agree. With his overall average his 6 game hitting streak must be 1 per game. Regardless Rua should be getting more time between LF and 1B.

Regarding last night, it is really impressive to look at the box score and see Cano/Cruz/Seager going 0-11.

Derek had some pretty great stuff last night. Some miss played balls kept him from going 7+. He wasn't no hit good or anything, but he kept the defense engaged enough to make some great plays behind him as well.

Miley worked fast too. Despite Texas scoring 8 runs the game was less than 3 hours long.

Evan and Gerry both have some strong bias and it shows quite often. Of course this is the case in most types of media today. That has been getting worse and worse for a few decades now.

You are way too correct on your evaluation of the media. I just wish it only pertained to the sports media. But this is a subject which I consider taboo here. ha

I was waiting for someone to bring up all that Mazara vs Gallo which Evan got into. Knew it had to rub some the wrong way, big time.

Actually, some of the stats he presented I was unaware of and found them interesting. But I did find the timing of pointing out those stats as falling into the category of "inappropriately timed." Let Mazara bask in his own sunshine, and let us appreciate him and his deeds without knocking someone else down was my take.
