So let's assume Mazara blows our freaking minds and hits .290+ with 5 or so home runs until Choo comes back. DDJ is hitting around .250, but getting on base at a .350 clip (which I anticipate), Moreland is still in the toilet, but Desmond is hitting around .240-.250 with a handful of dingers. Also, to make things more interesting, Rua is hitting .270ish with a handful of dingers as well. What do you do if you're JD?

You have to think DDJ is most in danger of losing time in that scenario with Choo leading off and Desmond in CF, and maybe Rua gets more ABs at 1b against LHPs

Considering what DDJ gives you on the bases if he's getting on at a .350 clip, I'm not sure if agree.

DDJ has the speed advantage in CF but I think Ian may already be the better CF and clearly has the better arm
