While you are right that it is for this next year, I was aiming for a current ranking. Not really this year's potential per se, but yeah, every homer will think that potential will be realized. How would you avoid an outdated rankings?
You can't. Anything subjective will by nature be skewed by each groups perspective.
From the voting results, obviously.
So obviously 9'er fans won't be voting for Krap several spots ahead of where everyone else will be because they haven't yet? Just because they didn't vote for him at 4 doesn't mean they won't vote for him at 6 and most others won't have him anywhere near that high.

We had a devoted fan voting for Eli at 4. Steeler fans have been voting for Ben the last two rounds. It is inevitable. Seattle fans seeing Wilson at 4 instead of 6 isn't any different than you seeing Krap at 6 instead of 8, it's just that Wilson is that much better anyway.

'Hawks fan voted for him at #3 as well. Is there a point I am missing? If someone really feels that a QB is better than another then that is all good.

No, the point I made was clear. Every QB of a team that has substantial fans up here will be valued somewhere higher than others not fans of that team. It's inevitable.

As I said, I voted for Wilson, but it is based how well he did with a bad line last year and no real studs at WR. I believe they can't be worse and easily could be much improved in pass blocking and if Harvin plays at least 12 games and/or Sidney Rice can play in something similar then his stats could rise substantially.

So my vote is predicated on two WR's that have been somewhat injury prone playing most of the season and our line showing improvement. If those do not happen he is likely more around 6th or 7th at best. Overly optimistic that those things improve? Maybe.

Maybe true but I'm just stating that 9er fans are not voting for Kap so homerism is not running wild for the 9ers. You made a statement that 9ers fans would do the same as 'Hawk fans as far as this voting.....you were wrong.

Maybe niner fans just dont expect as much from Kap next year as Seahawk fans expect from Wilson. Remember, this is a projection going forward. And Wilson has steadily improved as Kap regressed in most categories.

And if you read what was said now more than once, I said it's still the same thing if your base jumps in at 4 or 6, but everyone else doesn't start going for him until 10. So the answer about your base is impossible to know at this time. You cannot claim victory until the rounds where the average fan begins to vote for him.

I think your right with that point. Truthfully the 49ers fans are feeling iffy about having Kaep as their franchise QB going forward, they are just not sure he's the right guy. Seahawks fans are 100% behind Wilson and feel he is their franchise QB going forward and happy to have him.
