Years ago, a co-worker brought in some pictures to work that he had found of a guy who had put a firecracker in his mouth and lit it. It didn't kill him, but it pretty much blew half of his face off. In the rural town I grew up in there was a guy you'd see around town who had been caught in bed with another man's wife.
