All I know is I am going to be busy for days picking up all the sky that fell in my yard this weekend.

Good thing because I won't have to think about them Huskerz breaking my heart again.

I predicted 3 losses anyway so my sky has a couple of losses to go before I have to replace my roof.

I'm in hopes the skill players on offense can carry the load in what will potentially be some shootouts going forward.

If those were the best defensive players (both mentally and physically) on the field Saturday night, I'm skurred.

Pump up UCLA's talent all you want, but the issues of the front 7 were there vs USM, there last season, and the season before. There is something going on that is fail, whether it be players, coaches, or a combination of the two.

Since this is an embedded issue over multiple seasons, I have convinced myself not to expect tangible improvement going forward and hinge my hopes on what appears to be an offense that can give NU a chance to win.

LOL, I don't know. It hurts to lose but as you get older, the less it hurts. I suspect because we see that life goes on no matter how the weekend games turn out.

To go from the "Huskers for champs" to "I am done being a Husker fan" is too extreme and needs some reflection by those who take it that far.

I want us to win every game just as I want many other things in life!

We just need to put it all in perspective and not have mood swings to high or too low (as a fan base).

On a positive note, the BiG 10 is not a strong conference. If the offense can continue to score 30 and the defense can get to average, NU has a chance to make it to the CCG and compete. They will not have to face Ohio St twice.

UCLA is a mid level Pac 12 team, and Nebraska can't even beat a team at that level. Sad but true.

I want to believe this, but I don't think I can.. I think UCLA just gave the world the exact game plan needed to beat us.

You know they really didn't need to be all that creative.

I do however give their coaching staff credit for making proper half time adjustments and putting their players in position to win.

Right now I wish USM had played last weekend so we could see how they stacked up against another team.

NU made UCLA look like world beaters after one off season of coaching.

I know Skippy Neuheisal is a horrible coach, but it's hard to fathom there could be that kind of turn around in just spring and fall practice for them. Remarkable.

I know no one will consider this here, but maybe the absence of the extra spring game reps hurt our team? I know I know, I'm really grasping for straws here, aren't I?

Personally, I think it has to do with whom Bo has surrounded himself with pertaining to his assistant's. When Marvin left: huge drop off in the secondary. Eckler left: huge drop off with LB's. With the exception of L. David, that guy just had a sonar ping for the ball.
This team isn't as physical as it was 2 short years ago.
Two years ago; Nebraska gave up 51 points in there 4 non conference games combined; in 2 games this year 56 points.

Yup. Being a slow clod is one thing, getting pushed around is another.
