I knew this would be a battle, but I put on my rose colored glasses on to make my prediction of 37-21. I knew I would be ostracized if I had made my prediction without my glasses on. I envisioned a loss and I wanted to get that terrible thought out of my mind. That's the last time I make my prediction with those fucking rose colored glasses on!!! I just smashed them into about 477 pieces!

My parting shot number 3... I'm still looking forward to the rest of the season despite knowing there's 3 or 4 more losses looming.

The sky hasn't fallen I see today. However the impact these games have on recruiting is not positive to say the least. Mediocre season=mediocre recruiting, wash rinse repeat again for the foreseeable future until we can manage to win some of these high profile games.

The sky is not falling but the sun is not shining on the Huskers either. MY opinion is the Bruins were a much better team then most of us expected. What looked at the beginning as the makings of a shootout was shut down by superior coaching in the second half.

This may look a lot better a month from now but what I came a way from this game with is the knowledge that one more team has risen from the depths of mediocrity quickly with the hiring of known coaching staff while we are still wrestle the same demons with a coaching staff that is still experiencing the "learning curve".

Guys, this UCLA team was not UCLA of last year and I know it don't feel good to lose but they have a lot of talent (as much or more than we do regularly).

Makes me mad that we lost and we still have a long ways to go before I buy into the (Were back) campaign!

Not sure why you two (Brasky & Red Alert) are fighting each other beings your supporting the same team however its' not my business either.

With some major improvement, we could re-play these guys in the rose bowl, although if we don't shore up our "D" line strength (rush ends and middle penetration), this won't be something we will have to worry about either.
