in the scenario you have above it will be Oregon/osu

acc is too weak of a conference to have any kind of respect.

Of course, the schedules Oregon and osu play don't exhibit a lot of strength in themselves do they?

If the ACC champion finishes undefeated they will have a better resume than an undefeated Ohio State team.

I'll call bullshit on the OP. Bama is pretty much a lock in for the BCS title game. Their only other tough game is LSU in Tuscy. Maybe the SECCG might be a tough one, we'll see....

Chances are Alabama will not beat both LSU and Georgia so IMO, Alabama will not be playing in the NC game.

Alabama/ATM/LSU one could finish with one loss without playing in the SECCG I think and still get in with one loss

Not so sure about that. Losing early in the season as did Georgia keeps them alive. Losing late in the season is a problem. IMO, if Alabama loses to LSU, they are done....and if LSU beats Georgia in the SECC Game, no SEC team will play for the NC. IMO, the only way the winner of the SECC game gets in is if zero loss Alabama team plays a 1 loss Georgia team, or if 1 loss Georgia beats a 1 loss LSU.

My prediction...

Alabama wins out to the SECCG, then lose to Georgia. Georgia plays in the Natty with one loss.

Oregon loses to Stanford and maybe UCLA, Ohio st.'s schedule sucks too bad, and Clemson goes undefeated.

UGA-Clemson rematch for the title.

Not bad enough to get passed up. Undefeated OSU is a shoe-in over UGA.

An LSU win over a #2 ranked Georgia team could get them in

Stanford would have to lose too

Again, how is Georgia going to get to no. 2 if Clemson, OSU, and/or FSU are unbeaten?

oh sorry, I meant to include that the three ACC teams plus OSU all drop one game which is not that improbable

I actually see some truth to it this year just because there are so many easy schedules that Alabama isnt going to be able to get in this year with their inevitable 1 SEC loss that happens to the best of em.

Mostly because one team is not dominant enough to go undefeated, while at the same time, I do not expect tOSU, Oregon, and some combination of FSU/Clemson/Miami to lose a game.

SEC-outside looking in this year at the natty.

Oregon, FSU, Miami and Clemson all come from the 2 conferences with the most upsets in conference play during the BCS era. Conversely the SEC has been pretty easy to predict in comparison.

I think an SEC team not being represented in the BCS title game is wishful thinking on the parts of some. I want them to be in it and I want them to lose in it!

People are down on BAMA for all the wrong reasons. Thats a great team and they will continue to improve every week.

Personally I chose LSU/tOSU for the BCS title game. LSU threw a wrench in that but there's a lot of football yet to be played.

Still sticking with LSU vs tOSU in the BCS title game. Though it could very easily turn out to be BAMA/tOSU. =)

The SEC will be there though.

The B1G and the BIG 12 are down this year. If Oklahoma and tOSU don't go undefeated, it will be very disappointing. They're better than anyone else in their "respected" conference. Oregon and Alabama will go undefeated as well. Would of been a perfect year to have the playoff system in effect

Jeff, you should know better than anyone else that an ACC school will not go undefeated

So you think people are down on Bama but you think they'll lose? :L
