That’s a foolish comment and completely off base. No way 2017 - 2019 UCF struggles to go .500 in the Big 10. Bullshit. They have speed all over the place and serious explosiveness on offense. Maybe they don’t win the Big 10 but they would be one of those handful of teams right there in the mix. Not quite a top 5 type team nationally but certainly in the back half of the top 10 where they’ve been finishing these past couple of seasons. I think they’re the front runner again for the Group of 5 bid. That’s a damn good football team and they deserve respect.

Maybe, maybe if you put them in the West. But no way are they in the conf title hunt in the East while playing Penn State, Michigan state, michigan, and Ohio State. They would have a tough time winning one of those 4.

But Cincinnati went 11-2 last season while Bama and Ohio State lost only one game. They have to be of similar quality.

I will say they couldn’t have done much worse in the CFPCG than we did.

Pretty sad we went 14-1, set a bunch of offensive records (and would’ve obliterated more if not for liberal subbing early in games), and in many ways is something I really try to forget.

I can't see them beating the good teams in the Big 10 when playing away games. As for the average teams, on a good day they would beat UCF. Unless they play on a regular basis it's very hard to tell.

I don't think they'd have a cakewalk in the West either. Wisconsin and Iowa would beat them up physically. I see them taking out Illinois on a yearly basis, Nebraska, Purdue and Minnesota frequently, Northwestern a split and Iowa and Wisconsin very seldom.

Nothing yet suggest Florduh or scUm are in tier 3 though...I guess at this point there are no other teams to put in those slots though

I would say Tim Tebow was a much better QB than Felipe Franks, not to mention Urban Meyer.

2-10 Arkansas beat Tulsa 23-0....want to know how many AAC teams shut them out...0. Care to guess how many AAC teams beat them by 23....certainly not the 2 they beat, but only 1 of the other 6 managed it...Memphis beat them by 26. So, Memphis is slightly better than a shitty SEC team and you are slightly better than Memphis....

I am more convinced that Arkansas would finish .500 in the AAC than I am that UCF would finish in the top half of the SEC, but thanks for playing.

End of Year rankings dumbass, if Nebraska finishes the year ranked, they will have accomplished more than UCF.
