I'll shit in your shoes.
I hate Oregon.
"great weather"? Not even close. Cold and somewhat windy. UM also seems to be a far better D than TN and Oregon, as well. Kind of shut down Bama, too.cute.
but it is a valid question when you have this roster, and blowout 2 top tier teams in the playoffs, only saw glimpse's of this team during the season, why didn't you have this team gelled and ready to go for the last game of the regular season when you were at home, and had great weather...............

sun was out? OK...but can still be cold and somewhat windy. Announcers mentioned the wind several times.Lol
It’s all relative
The sun was out
No rain. No snow.
Most would take that weather
OSU literally did not show up to play. I don't blame the Defense at all. they only gave up 13 points! only 1 TD, and 2 FGS.sun was out? OK...but can still be cold and somewhat windy. Announcers mentioned the wind several times.
Then there is the UM being a far better defense and when we did throw did not go so well....under 5.5 yards/attempt. 2 INTs.
I can agree offense shit the bed. But play call is not to throw picks or miss kicks. Can a player ever screw up or does it have to be the coach.? He didn't ignore Smith...UM maybe plays better D and had a better plan to cover him? I mean, you think he just didn't run routes? The B decides where to throw the ball.OSU literally did not show up to play. I don't blame the Defense at all. they only gave up 13 points! only 1 TD, and 2 FGS.
it's our offense that shit the bed, along with terrible play calling.
Howard threw 2 picks. kicker missed two FGs. then chip kelly deciding to ignore Jerimiah Smith.........
OSU beat themselves.
I completely agree and have always thought the players escape too much blame in losses.I can agree offense shit the bed. But play call is not to throw picks or miss kicks. Loved what Galloway said after the game....loss was mostly on the players. Blaming coaches is something emotional fans do (not saying you).
I can agree with this, but while those 2 may have had the most noticeable plays could be other players in there....But do think players overall at least 2/3 at fault if not likely more.I completely agree and have always thought the players escape too much blame in losses.
for years in college and pros, It has amazed me in losses how I hear supposed experts blame the coaches 100% for the losses. it's BS. the coaches can coach a perfect game, but if the players play like shit its still the coaches fault? no way.
going back to the OSU/scUM game. I put the blame as follows.
1/3 will howard had a terrible game. 2 picks.
1/3 FG kicker. left 6 pts on the field
1/3 day/kelly terrible play calling. (J. Smith was only targeted one time in the 4th quarter.)
