The Rangers limp into Philadelphia at .500. Will they fall under
.500 for the first time under Bruce Bochy?
That is just one of many questions. Which offense is the real Rangers offense? Who takes Wemdzel's spot on the active roster? Can the bullpen hang in there long enough to make it until some of the starting pitchers replace the dregs of the pen? Is this team complacent? Has this team become like those 2012 and 2013 teams, and become a team waiting until they think it matters to flip the switch to "on" and start playing like they are capable of?
Those 2012 and 2013 teams wore out that switch so much that they finally broke the switch. Let's hope that same process isn't unfolding again.
With all the injuries this team actually reminds me of the 2014 team. Let's hope they rebound from both the injuries and the complacency and start playing like champions again.
Gray is scheduled to pitch tonight, but TBD is still scheduled to pitch the next two days.
