The Race For 2,000

It looks like Derrick Henry and Saquon Barkley both have a chance to rush for 2,000 yards this season.

Henry is currently at 1,120 yards with a bye still to go, but is on pace to have a shot at this.

Barkley is currently at 925 with his bye behind him, more of a longshot, but not out of the realm of possibility at all, especially if he goes off against Dallas.

Can either of these guys break 2,000 this season?

I think Henry has the better chance but Philly has started becoming more of a rushing team in recent weeks as they develop a new identity with Saquon so you never know.

Yea he would, Eric Dickerson came within about 300 yards of doing 2000 with 2 teams.

Barkley is unlikely to do it, he would need to really go off on a few teams to catch up. He only had like 69 yards yesterday and got pulled in the 4th when Philly got out to a huge lead.

Hes averaging 135 yards a game total.

At his current pace he cracks 2k in 15 games

Looking at phillys schedule he may not play the last week.

I think that number is overall yards from scrimmage, not rushing, but yes he is tops in the NFL right now.

I think he is almost certain to top 2,000 yards from scrimmage overall, because he's a factor in the passing game, a greater factor there than Henry. He had 52 yards receiving and 146 yards rushing last night.

I feel bad for the guy because Hurts vultures so many of his TDs, but he truly doesn't seem to care, I think he is just happy to be on a winning team.

I don't think Barkely will get it... The Eagles don't need him as much as the Ravens need Henry... But I do see Henry getting it

That's interesting to see where they rank. Barkley played last night, but Henry still hasn't had a bye, so this shows both through the same number of games. Dead heat for the rushing crown basically.

Saquon needs just over 100 yards/game to get to 2k and 1 of those games is vs Carolina who has the worst rush defense in the league

Saquon and Henry averaging 6.0+ yards per carry

Saquon is also delivering for me in fantasy
