Here is a crazy thought, after today's game Alex Smith might be the league leader in Passer Rating.

108.7

Matt Ryan was leading last week with 106.1

Oh, nevermind Ryan jumped up to 112.1

Shoot I give up, NFL.com and ESPN.com have like two completely different lists for QB rating, so confusing.

It's fixed now, ESPN does not update it until around midnight pacific time.

3YB said Smith was first in NFL QB rating, but then remarked how ESPN and NFL.com have two different ratings, when they have the same formula, just two different times of updating. I was just showing the updated list showing that he indeed was first at the moment.

I got that, but the list still showed Smith at 98.? No bigge

ESPN QBR

Smith = 99.2
Kap = 100

Makes sense

Hmm... I wonder if I have a cookie on my computer or something that remembers the way I sorted the data (by QB rating) but doesn't transfer to the link? If you sort it that way, I think it might update.

Holy Shit, Alex Smith... highest passer rating in the land.... until Schaub takes it after his MNF game. I feel like I should take a picture.

I said QB rating at first, I should specify since lame ESPN muddied the waters with their stupid QBR

It appears Alex Smith will be the #1 ranked QB beginning tomorrow - By my numbers here are the top three:

Alex Smith:---108.7
Matt Ryan:---106.1
Matt Schaub:-105.3*

Kap is gonna be a fantasy stud when he finally starts.

obviously, i hope so?

but not until he passes WELL, not just run. the majority (not all) of his passing needs to come from the 'pocket'. so i'll have to question the 'stud' part.

Look at a guy like Cam Newton. He threw for a lot of yards, but that was cause they just let him go out there and let it fly. He may not put up those huge numbers Newton did, but even if he has slightly less success combined with the rushing (especially TD's) will equal big points.

not if he drops the ball like its a wet piglet

Yeah, I think repetition will fix that.

5 games in the books, now i wanna see how the offense performs over the next few games. we're starting to see how all the parts on offense are fitting together, but i don't think we've peaked yet. put up a huge days stats wise, but the bills are blah.
