Fleetwood can't hit a long putt to save his life. Sick of watching him come out flat when it counts the most.

Now Fleetwood gets bailed out with his driver tagging a spectator on the fly. Put on some protective gear following that group I guess. Cool that they want to make their games so fan-interactive.

The morning paper only had an article on Tiger and his birdie on #17.

It's refreshing to watch a tournament without having to see Tiger playing every hole.

Weird seeing Furyk going after eagles. If I remember right that last great year he had where he cracked the top 10 3 or 4 years ago maybe he didn't have a single eagle on a par 5 all season or something ridiculous like that.

Jesus, on Sunday's Fleetwood putts like a homeless guy who shoplifted a putter from a golf store and snuck onto the course.

Rahm's caddie is probably the most pissed off dude on the course right now.

Nice to see the Players back where it belongs.

I hated the Masters being the first real (major atmosphere) tournament of the season.
The Players served as a nice ramp up to the Masters.

I really like the Players. It seems like none of the Pro's never really figure this course out.
They could win one year, and then miss the cut the next.

17 gets all of the attention but 18 is one of my favorite holes in all of golf.

That is how you make a gut check 18. Water all down the left side.
If you want to know what tour pro's don't trust their driver ...watch 18.

.

If you ever saw me hit my driver, you'd know why water all down the left side don't scare me one bit :dhd:

If Rory doesn't hit this putt which iwher a par is basically a bogey he's probably still ok. Can't believe Furyk missed that putt.

Never bet against an Irishman on St. Paddy's day! Unless it's over who gets the lowest score on a breathalyzer.

This totally needs to be granted major status. Probably the best risk/reward course on the tour.

The whole interaction with Rahm and his caddie was really amazing.

The caddie had the wisdom and the clear head. Rahm will probably learn from this.

David Feherty just told us that Tiger Woods gives max effort on every putt. Wow! Can you believe it? A pro golfer giving max effort on every putt? Amazing!

The bullshit they come up with in their knob gobbling of Woods has reached an absurd level.

Great tourney. Was up for grabs until the last few holes. Great win for Rory - he kept his composure & just nailed things down the stretch. Very entertaining.

Jesus - get over your obsession. Unless you chose to watch Tiger during this tourney (via PGA Live for the most part) he was not shown all that much & you could view a lot of entertaining shots from the other participants. Now ESPN coverage is a different story, but who gives a shit about them.

I agree with there being too much exposure at times on Tiger, but I also see people like yourself who obsess about it way too much.

BTW - Feherty makes lots of stupid comments about all golfers all of the time. I believe that he is very good on his TV show but terrible as an on course commentator (should be removed IMO).

I agree, I like the March position better, it's more or less ramping up to the Masters, but the course is just not going to play at it's peak in March. The overseeded rye rough is not the same as the Bermuda rough and the greens are much softer.

Still like it, but not the same test....at one time on Sunday there were probably 15 players at -11 or better.
