Tiger puts two in the water on 17 during his second round. Cards a 7.
Why isn't the Player's considered a major?

Lots of players consider it one...lots of players want it just the way it is. The biggest non-major tournament in the world. Personally I like it just the way it is....the same course year in, year out and nobody really has a stranglehold on the thing.
Phil Mickelson has now missed the cut in back to back tournaments.I really like the Players. It seems like none of the Pro's never really figure this course out.
They could win one year, and then miss the cut the next.

Lol.. he's not really wrong. But if you make millions per year on tour I guess it doesn't matter what you look like.
