depends what they ask for in return, i wouldnt trade nick franklin for him

yeah it really depends. I can't imagine his value being extremely high. IMO he isn't worth a trade for most of the guys on the 40-man roster. If you take a look at our 40 man it is littered with young players some with decent potential. May not be worth an injury prone part time outfielder. Now if they would take Montero from us in exchange I would be all for it.

I would even have a hard time dealing Montero for him. Just not a fan of his. Now one of the other Pirates OF's and then we are talking.
