I am really curious who will be there at 36 and 40. No need to move up now obviously.

At some point, we might have to reach for a Tackle and WR.

IM not upset. There are a couple of pure LTs still on the board, and there will be potential starter at 40 as well.
Rivera would have thrown his hands up and taken a defensive player...LOL

If its tackle and WR in the next two picks, no need to reach.

JAvon foster is another pure LT with some size to him.

We shouldnt reach, just make the right pick.

Hell if we got Paul or Foster in the 2nd, and grabbed a WR... I would still take a flyer on Fischer in the 3rd because he has the tools but needs coaching.

You know IM a defensive minded guy and was thrilled when we took Allen and Payne in back to back years. Kinda pissed we screwed up on Sweat, and still think we should have taken the 5th on Chase.

But water under the bridge, time to restock the cupboards and put some O-lineman in front of our new QB.

I hope not for Aiyuk. There is just better talent in this draft than Aiyuk.
I am not sure why you would say better talent.

He just had back to back years with 70+ grabs in each and he is 26.

He was 7th in receiving yards in 2023. Only 6 WRs had more receiving yards. Saying that is better talent in the draft is a stretch as Aiyuks numbers are better than most NFL receivers currently.

I think the rub is the he is 26 part. In a league where you see guys retire at 32, thats a stiff price in the eyes of some people.

IM not some people in this case mind you.

But Im also hoping our new OC can actually get more out of Dotson and Brown.

Daniels and Aiyuk are on IG live together right now. A lot of Skins talk.
Look, we have the cap space to make Aiyuk work.

My hold up would be not taking it in the ass on daft capitol to get him. If we can get him for #40, and #100, plus a conditional 4th to 7th next year. I pull the trigger knowing that we are gonig to spend more than we would on a rookie.

But if the Niners want a 2nd, 3rd this year and GKs left nut.... IM going to pass. The 3rd is just too much. :)

I offer 36 or 40. If they balk, I draft Coleman from FSU.

IM waiting to see who is there at tackle after the Cardinals pick. Also have to figure the niners need O-line as well. Which is why Im not offering the 36. Would suck to get the WR, pay the contract for him, and still end up with the consolation at OT. Now if tey really think we can get a starting OT at 40, roll with it.

I'm in the minority, but this is why I wanted Tyron Smith in FA. Gave us some flexibility and options. What's done is done. 36 has to be a tackle.
