The Patriots defense is historically bad

Yes I can see that, have watched every game. This is more on Patricia than BB in my opinion. A lot of new guys out there on the D and HT was out for a couple of games. I believe they will get much better. Relax.

Patricia certainly has seemed to have lost this D... Yes I get HT has been out and clearly that hurts but the Patriots never truly had a great defense to begin with and they are getting burnt left and right all season

Yep, they have been burned a lot with big plays, which is uncharacteristic. However, not ready to call it a season because of the D.

I thought watching NEs bend don't break defense was painful. Man this is killing. Gilmore better pull his head out of his ass. I haven't watched any game tape but between his blown or late to react coverages and those damn penalties BB will sit his ass. That's of course if BB can swallow his pride for trading for him?

also yes the offense is good but they can't keep it up forever... 3rd down last year and this year is a huge problem for this D and they are being exploited... Also... Running QBs seem to have the Pats number (as they should against most D;s)

Very little pressure on opposing QBs, that does not help.

that's the way to be ! I have been colts and o's fan since late 60s . been so many lean years . while I don't watch pats but it seems brady isn't brady this year !

I think Gilmore will pan out. Not ready to push him off a cliff yet. I think many Pats fans are overreacting. Yeah, our D has sucked so far, big deal. I believe they will improve; actually, they can't get any worse so there is that.

in football you always need those draft picks for depth and it seems the pats gave them all away this year . It is more fa they do not live up to the money as a high paid fa signing get talent in the middle is always better . I love the experts talk about the lack of talent on the colts D but these guys are already better than the last 5 years teams .

I think you're right. I need to watch some game tape. This looks like Gilmore can't figure out the NE defense, just do your job

At least Brady now knows what it is like to tie or take the lead late in a game and then turn it over to a bad defense and have the game lost because the defense was not that great. Rodgers knows how this works quite well
