Joining the Pac has pretty much zero to do with how they are doing on the field though. Just ask BSU. Eastern adds no new TV markets, no new recruiting areas, and is well behind on academics.

No doubt they are a dangerous team to add to your OOC though. Take them on at your own peril.

Once I learned about Rutgers completely cleaning house last year I was way more comfortable with that spread.

It was against UC Davis so it's not a very accurate gauge. Let's talk after Nebraska about the current state of the Ducks defense. Virginia sucks so that won't be much a test. But @ Nebraska. That will be a legit test.

I agree Virginia isn't much of a test, but hopefully it's what they need to start clicking. Otherwise it will likely be a very long season for the Duck faithful.

It is exactly how it works. They played a scrimmage in front of a packed house. It's not at all how I or basically any normal person would like our schools to play but Leach does.

Boise State licking their chops, but WSU can be a very different critter week to week. Cougs do need to bounce back find something that resembles defense or it's going to be a very long season on the Palouse.
