Jonsen started running again in Dec. just started running again. not even fully. Prukop joined in Jan. sometimes coming off injury recovery has set backs. they didn't know how well he would be even though it was still 9 months away. a lot can happen. this was also before signing day. they didn't know who all they would have. so no they didn't like their overall depth.

So since 2011 they have been waiting for Jonsen? lol. Most teams pick up like two QBs a year and you're telling me they had to get rental QBs in consecutive years because this one kid was hurt? You really trying to sell that?

It's odd that QBs would leave because of Mariota knowing he was there and starting. He even left a year early. You would think youd get better QBs that would like to go and follow such a good QB not less of them.

If no one was ready or able in 2014 that means they failed in 2013- 2012- 2011. That's what you're not getting. You can't just get one for that season you need to recruit and develop. When that fails you have to use what you got or the Oregon way you go buy errrr get a rental.
