First of all, if you aren't bringing in top QB talent every single class you have problems. So these guys have been at least trying to get the very best they can every year since Kelly left which is more than two years.

You have to have your heir apparent ready to go when your stud is on the way out. Your fans assured us they did and it's clear as day they didn't. That's what people have said. Your fans were wrong and that is a plain old fact.

This is Oregon we are talking about here. With all of the bling and all of that status you all believe you have. You guys haven't been able to find a QB worthy of leading your team since MM came on campus and he was recruited by Helfrich way back in 2010. That's a long ass time to go without finding quality.

three 3* QBs in 16 #16 and #21 DT QBs, 4* in 15, 4* in 14, 3* in 13 the #23 DT QB, 3* and 4* in 12, 3* in 11 the #12 DT QB, 4* in 10. so no problem like you said.

Sorry, we are all fully allowed to laugh at how bad that spot has been in recruiting over the last 4-5 years.

No doubt you will eventually get lucky and find a serviceable in house home grown kid again. Some day.

We can say there has been bad because we've seen the bad on the field when Adams missed games. It was glaring.

Show me a case of something good coming out of your QB recruiting and we will call it quality recruiting. Something besides those rent-an-arms you are becoming known for.

You just said some transferred and at least one of them was bad anyway and the other lazy (which is a form of self imposed bad). No QB your staff has brought in since MM has done anything of substance on any P5 field have they? Did any transfer and become stars?

Really man, this isn't this hard. Just accept the facts. Oregon has put out a bunch of quality people at several positions, but has entirely wiffed on every QB since MM and that's true until proven otherwise.

Look, Sark didn't exactly light up our field with QB talent while he was here and we can easily admit it.

Even Browning now had a nice little season for a true frosh, but has a long way to go before you can declare victory. Maybe he gets there, and maybe he's already hit his ceiling. Won't know until he plays.

Why be so damned defensive about this one thing? You haven't put out a QB in years. It's a fact. And those that transferred out didn't tear up any other field meaning they still weren't that great and wouldn't have done anything had they stayed. Yes, we can very much say that.

Yes, we can still say they have missed to date. We can't call anyone that hasn't yet had a chance a bust, but it is valid to say that everyone since MM in '11 has been a bust until that is no longer true. If Prukop ends up at the helm this year and he has anything short of a MM type of years its a complete indictment on those behind him.

There are other quotes if you'd like for me to put them up here as well. He was outed by his own head coach as a total bust. That doesn't happen often. He wasn't anywhere near good enough to see the field and now he's back at the FCS level. What can he prove down there? Not much.

Were you hit by a stone, Wiz? Actually, I didn't know that ASU put "only" 2 people in the NFL draft. But then, so what? I didn't know UW had a Heisman winner, either. What I suggested to Oly, in view of the raves from Washington fans re Petersen's recruiting prowess it would be consistent with this discussion to see how that works out. On the field that is. Sort of glass house stuff.
