If that were the case then you wouldn't be constantly validating them.No need since Oregon does that for itself.

Everyone does to a certain degree, you just more than most. It looks insecure. Whatever though, it's not a big deal.please tell me a team's fan base that doesn't talk about what their team has done and how they look going forward.
If you listen to what he says it would seem he isn't really fond of any of Sark's kids. They will be starting mostly freshmen and RS freshmen in key positions. Jaydon Mickens is the ONLY experienced WR expected to play this year, no QB with any real experience, mostly no experience on either line, etc.is next year the year expectations rise for Chris Peterson at UW?
Seriously surprised at the lack of hype/low predictions this year for Washington considering its his second year. I understand the huskies lost a lot going into this year, but when should the conference expect Washington to be up there?
If thats the case I would expec a down year this year, avg bowl next year and a highly competative team in 17If you listen to what he says it would seem he isn't really fond of any of Sark's kids. Doesn't mean they will all suck, but no one quite knows what they will be until we see it.
If he's the coach he is said to be there should be progress as the season wears on.
God love you OD. You are as loyal as they come.Definitely getting to the natty again. Don't see how else they don't get there. Personally, I like their chances vs tOSU since we should be well prepared for their game plan this year considering what happened last year. But it could also be vs Alabama, which I REALLY like our chances.
6-5. You cant ignore the Rose Bowl win over reigning NC and ACC champs Florida State just because it wasnt the last game of the season. 3-3 in BCS/NC games.
Arizona went 3-3 and 4 no bowls in last 10 years Fiesta bowl loss
Arizona State 3-4 and 3 no bowls in last 10 years No BCS bowls
Cal 4-2 and 4 no bowls in last 10 years No BCS bowls
Colorado 0-2 8 no bowls in last 10 years no BCS bowls
Oregon State 4-2 and 4 no bowls in last 10 years No BCS bowls.
Stanofrd 3-3 and 4 no bowls in last 10 years. 2-2 in BCS bowls.
UCLA 4-4 and 2 no bowls in last 10 years. No BCS bowls
USC is 6-2 and 2 no bowls in 10 years. 3-1 in BCS bowls
Utah 7-1 and 2 no bowls in last 10 years. Sugar bowl win.
Washington 2-3 and 5 no bowls in last 10 years. No BCS bowls
WSU 0-1 and 9 no bowls in last 10 years. No BCS bowls.
So Oregon has been to more bowls than any other team in the last 10 years. has more bowl wins than 10 other teams in last 10 years. has more BCS/NC appearances than any other team in the last 10 years.
Someone's not getting a Christmas card from Wallace.Just received my season tickets in the mail. Oct 31st is the game OSU and Gary Anderson will get their faces bitch slapped all night long!
Your theory is USC on sanctions therefore Oregon did better in recruiting.
Oregon recruiting through the years before during and now after the USC sanctions has been relatively the same. so no I do not think that the USC sanctions had a huge impact on Oregon's success.

and there is nothing wrong with that the * system ranking is flawed. Exposure plays a part. Mariota was a 3 star but didnt really play until his senior season and all the way out in Hawaii. If he played 2 or 3 seasons in HS probably would have been different ranking. If he would have been on the mainland, just about anywhere, probably would have been different. there are plenty of 2,3 star breakout players but also plenty of 4 and 5s that never pan out.I agree. Oregon recruits to their system more than to the overall talent of the recruit. They're more likely to take a 3 star who fits their system perfectly than a 4 or 5 star who may be more talented, but doesn't fit their system as well.

Scout and Rivals still has Oregon ahead. thats what we were talking about earlier, subjective and speculative.
247 indicates this moves Stanford's class ahead of Oregon in the conference, then again all these kids still have to get admitted.
Agreed, just threw it in there because of that conversation.Scout and Rivals still has Oregon ahead. thats what we were talking about earlier, subjective and speculative.
