I was there with you on the Stanford call, had some huge doubts early after their opener.South is still up for grabs. Depends on who's hot down the stretch.
I said Stanford from the north, and overall conf champ from day 1 and that's still what I'm sticking to.
1) No one really cares about the south.Anyone have a clue as to who's gonna win the South?
Any of yous ready to say that The Cardinal is a lock for the North just yet?
(Besides SUBuddha)
Utah probably has the easier schedule between you and them going down to the wire, but USC has some of their easier games as well. Both zona schools have more meat on their plate than either Utah or USC. If I had to bet I'd probably still give a slight edge to Utah, but I haven't liked them all year for some reason.I was there with you on the Stanford call, had some huge doubts early after their opener.
I did, and it was not an opinion rather just the facts, right?didnt you see my post from yesterday?
I also feel like there are other what ifs that could come into play. like what if Oregon wins out which inludes a win over Stanford to finish 7-2 in conference, Stanford loses to Oregon and Colorado (long shot I know) to also be 7-2, WSU loses to Stanford but win all others to be 7-2. but then we have to get into the whole tie break stuff because we would have the 3 way tie where each beat eachother.I did, and it was not an opinion rather just the facts, right?
I like that you do that, but it's only about the paths, not the journey.

So in your scenario Oly, throw out No. 1 and move to intra-division games.Multiple-team ties If three or more teams are tied atop a division at the end of the season, the following criteria are used to eliminate teams until just two teams remain, at which point the two-team tiebreaking procedure is used.
Pac-12 Football Championship Game tiebreaker explanation
- Head-to-head results (best record in games between tied teams)
- Record in intra-divisional games
- Record against the next highest placed team in the divison (based on the record in all conference games), proceeding through the division
- Record in common conference games
- Highest ranking in College Football Playoff poll entering the final weekend of the regular season
itra division would have WSU out then because they lost to Cal and Stanford while Oregons losses were a N and a S team. If Stan lost to Oregon and Colorado keeps them in while if they lost to Oregon and Cal Oregon wins the division. did I do that right? So in your scenario Oly, throw out No. 1 and move to intra-division games.
Sounds right to me.itra division would have WSU out then because they lost to Cal and Stanford while Oregons losses were a N and a S team. If Stan lost to Oregon and Colorado keeps them in while if they lost to Oregon and Cal Oregon wins the division. did I do that right?
It never felt in question though.
