There are at least a dozen others that UW's new court looks much more like than yours. Want me to keep going? :L

Love's me some self centered ducklings.

Makes the point even stronger - UW cannot come up with anything original

And apparently few do as if you google college basketball courts there are tons that have some kind of common theme. If you believe those fucking ugly trees is all that counts as unique then I really hope we stay with the status quo because those are hideous.

But nothing screams 'I need attention' quick like a duck fan. I mean everything in all sports is there because you invented it first right? :laugh3: You all sure Al Gore wasn't a duck?

First, I was pulling for a 9 game schedule, but not because I really care about fairness. I want good games more than I want a bunch of easy wins.

That said, there are all sorts of unfairness in college football. Having only 12 teams, the PAC has an advantage in that there aren't as many teams that could be good in a given year. So, should the SEC advocate that all conferences have to have 14 teams? Don't think so. While the BigXII plays a round robin, the dodge the CCG that all the other conferences get/have to play that is a tough game at the end of the year, that could be against a team you already played. While unfair, it makes sense to me that the round robin winner is the CC. But, is it fair they get to miss out on that game? Don't think so.

As for the SEC advantage, it isn't that we don't play all the teams ... only the BigXII does that. Stanford dodges Arizona and Colorado this year. SEC teams dodge more because there are more teams in the conference. So the difference is really 1 IC game ... not the dodging of a bunch of teams. Now, I get that 1 game is significant and I hope 1 day the SEC will do that, but seems like a lot of whining to me.

Fact is that Stanford or another PAC team will get their shot this year in the playoff. Win that game and quit whining.

Why should PAC Coaches care what the SEC does
The PAC at one time played a round robin, so every team played every team, which is the best format in terms of crowning a champion in a conference.
They went to 12 teams and 2 divisions because of money.
The SEC stays at 8 conference games because of money.
If the PAC did what they did because of money, then why the fuck are they even talking about what the SEC does.

Here's an idea.
KEEP YOUR FUCKING MOUTHS' SHUT ABOUT IT, HYPOCRITES.
or go back to playing everyone in a round robin format.

Oh UW still trying to be like Oregon

uw-university-of-washington-huskies-new-court-620x400.jpg

L.M.A.O.

that is embarrassing if you are a Fusky.

The court looks great, but my goodness. Could you possibly want to be Oregon any more?

Newsflash: There is only room for one in the PAC NW. And it is the Ducks.

I support a Husky free Northwest.

watch out, we got a badass... :yahoo:

Anyways. I will point out a few things to you.

1. The only reason you now have a round robin is because teams escaped the Big12 for greener pastures. Texas is the only reason the Big12 still exists. You have 10 teams in the Big12  And that friend, is the ONLY reason you play a round robin.

2. Why the coaches are making a deal about it, is because they believe we all should be on equal grounds. 9 games. If not 9 then all the power 5 maybe goes to 8. Who knows.

3. Why are you so angry all the time.... :noidea:

Nice to see there is no lack of stupid in the off season up here.

The Pac went to 12 to get a CCG because they got tired of getting screwed out of chances at the NCG when other similar teams got an extra game.

So the reality is they went to 12 to add an extra game of high SOS.

The SEC would rather play games against cupcake state and podunk tech. Many of their teams play the absolute lowest level teams that actually suit up.

Who do SEC teams play before their big rivals every year? That's right, they HAVE to schedule a cupcake to more or less have an extra built in bye before that game. The Pac? Not a chance. They do ALL of their non conference up front and then run 9 straight conference games.

Not sure why a sooner is nutswinging off the SEC. I remember when your program was good enough to stand on it's own. Guess those days are gone.

I wish they would go back to 10 team conferences, but as long as the SEC keeps this bullshit 8 game schedule nonsense and keeps adding teams it's not likely any of the other power conferences are going to be able to scale back.

So try learning something about football before you totally embarrass yourself again. I know, that's advice that will fall on deaf ears. I mean you are a sooner after all.

Pretty much already settled that Mamba. You are at least a full page too late to try that sorry ass shit.

If they are guilty of copying it would be against some of the schools I already posted that have courts WAY more similar than Oregon's fucking retarded tree mess.

Wonder how many of you will still keep trying to tell everyone about how you hate Huskies because of how arrogant their fans were when you were down. I mean it's fucking hilarious given how much worse your sorry ass bunch is these days.

But do keep trying Mamba. Maybe one of these days it will work.

I love how Big12ers parade around their round robin schedule, such a novel concept after Nebraska and Tex a&m left for better opportunities.

Texas is the only reason that conference is still alive. When they decide to leave, it is over for the Big12.

I haven't seen Oregon's court, nor do I really care, but I think UW's new court looks incredible.

It does look very nice.

You know we Ducks aren't going to pass up on ANY opportunity to make light of something cool the Fuskies do.

Go look at it dude. It's a fucking mess. Hard to tell where any of the lines are. Really impossible to confuse it with any other course that has clean lines.

How the hell can you even compare Oregon's court to UW's?

oregon-floor-660x361.jpg

It literally looks like someone smeared shit all over the court, those hardly even look like trees, and it takes up the entire damn court.

Try harder.

IMO it would have looked better if they didn't have the trees all the way around the court. The "deep in the woods" thing is pretty cool, but aside from that I don't see how you think UW is copying Oregon.

That actually looks better than it often does on TV. You can see the lines in the picture, but depending on the coverage those trees totally kill them.
