I'm sure gene wasn't the first, and won't be the last to disappoint you that way up here. Kind of the nature of communicating in a format with zero accountability. People being dicks at some point is the rule, not the exception.

being a dick is one thing.

LOL. Thousands of posts and this is your reply. Try reading a book once in a while instead of spending every waking moment yapping about Duck football . You might be able to do better.

If a Stanford grad can't afford a 1k buy in, no one outside of the SC fans could. I mean the rest of us come from lowly little community colleges compared to them.

You won't be the last to complain about the buy-in costs, so I decided to lower it to $10 and we'll play with pennies and nickles...YOU good wif dat?

Put that other stuff in my car trunk on your way in the front door...

Back to Marriota for a moment...

In my OP...we won't see him tearing all over the place as he has in the past, hits hurt and he will avoid them now. I expect a lot more slides and passing from him, as he readies himself for a good year and the NFL next step. THIS YEAR is all about the millions waiting for him, he knows it, we know it, the rest of the PAC12 knows it, Helfrich knows it, ESPN knows it...have I left anyone else out of the loop?

M Mariotta NEEDS to learn how to STAY IN the pocket passing the rwak and trust his lineman OR his days are numbered and his NFL dreams will be gone with one more "pop sound" in his knees.

bump

Worthy of a discussion OR at least a simple "f u c ky o u" reply. Does this make any sense to anyone on here?:noidea:

Wallace, that is exactly why Luck ran so much less his senior season. Hamilton and Shaw put him on a short leash to help extend his playing career. Though if Indy doesn't fix their O line soon the poor kid will never reach his potential.

He should be working at staying in the pocket and using his arm more, but it's hard at the college level when you are so much more athletic than the typical defense you are facing. Johnny football is going to learn that one real quick next fall.

Using their version of the zone read is still a part of what they do. I'm sure Mariota won't want to do anything to jeopardize his NFL career, but he is a gamer too and wouldn't skip on any chance to win the play.

^ He'll throw more and run less Whiz, not to say he won't get HUGE chunks by taking off every now and then.

I know he'll be throwing all day against the dawgs. UW has a solid front 7, but will have only one kid with experience in the secondary. Now that one kid is freaking awesome, but they will be starting 2 true frosh and an underclassman. I know you are salivating over that as well, but you expect these kids to step up. They have 4 cake walk OOC games to find their way in. We will see. Having the Cardinal at home to open conference play will be a hell of a wake up call for some of those young'ens that are expected to get significant game time this year.

At least we get the beavs near the end of the season when most of those kids should be matured in the system.

Real funny that you find it in you to give me the "son". You're that internet guy who hides behind his thousands of posts and thinks it gives him some imaginary balls to say things to guys he would never (trust me you wouldn't) ever say in person. And yet you have the nerve to whine about peoples thoughts and predictions. lol. Classic.

Can't wait to see how this one goes...

:pop2:

P.S. - Mamba is a freakishly big dude (no offense mamba). I'm sure he would say anything he does up here in person to just about anyone. But carry on.

If I can recall, all the big guys were never around when we finished training where survival was tested. The bigger they were the less likey they could take anything to tough.

Oh course you're thirsty you sound like someone who needs to drink and eat all day to keep up that body weight. You'd find that can up your ass if you were lucky enough to have me bring you one . But thanks for the laugh again. I think the football gods are going to make Mariota stumble just because of you ( yes, trying to steer this back to football).
