[thought you were going to ask me when was the last time UW beat ASU? Well, I would say ASU last played a Rose about 1995 or 96, and UW last played about 2000 or so. Not much to brag about there, Junior, and so damn long ago it matters not at all. ASU won't make it this year, so hang around, you may be able to get me next year. We'll see.

I can't figure out how to quote Notneutral's quote but in 1996 ASU lost the Rose Bowl by about 30 Seconds to Ohio State. Had ASU held on they would have been the undefeated national champions, but Boston got free in the end zone and ruined it. My ASU friends still talk about pulling down the goal posts after the Nebraska win and carrying them around the city. It was a good year to be a Devil.

Oh and against USC it was clearly an incomplete pass that bounced and not a fumble in Overtime, so I guess they got some breaks along the way as well.
