That's crazy. I had to look it up myself when they were talking about it before the UW game.

Both of those games is compelling. Ducks played pretty well at home yesterday and WSU has yet to be road tested despite a solid win at home this week. Stanford showing signs of improving and has the most talked about player in the conference right now against a Utah team always tough on defense and a real threat to take the South.

It's the only game I'm not going to this year as I'm giving my tickets to my best friend for his birthday so he can go with his wife. They be fucked.

No one is taking anything away from them for that.

At all.

We all know many/most college teams are entirely different on the road vs at home. Oregon lost to ASU on the road and then played Cal really solid at home. Cal played USC strongly at home and then looked like shit at Oregon. Etc... You can go on and on and on with that.

If you took teams like Oregon and gave them 5 straight home games they might artificially look more solid than they otherwise would with early road tests.

When I look at every team in the off season going in the questions I ask are how solid are they at QB and what are their road games and when do they happen. Literally the two most important things for every team.

We don't know what WSU is on the road this year. On paper their defense looks better, but EVERY defense plays better at home. It isn't a minor consideration to ask what they look like away from Martin Stadium.
