Thanks. They played well. Closest they've looked to the Pete Carroll era since probably 2008. As for the avatar, just pick a USC avy that you don't find to hard to stomach and use that.

It's been a while since you expected the offense to do something practically every time they got the ball and last night everyone was gushing over the offense and how they moved the ball. That two headed monster of Ronald Jones and Stephan Carr is going to do some damage. Not thunder and lightning but their own version.

Yeah, I think it was Gus Johnson or whoever the color commentator was that said, despite all of the flashy players and Heisman candidates, it was really the offensive and defensive lines that the whole era was built on. Last night they looked a lot like those lines.

Agree about RoJo and Carr. That extra weight that RoJo put on in the off-season seems like just what he needed to fully realize his potential. Trying to remember the last time we had 2 running backs rush for over 100 yards in the same game like RoJo and Carr did last night. I'll bet it was during the PC era.

Carr really has me intrigued with what he could become. That kid hits the hole as fast as I have seen anyone do in a long time and he's only a freshman. I can only imagine what he's going to be like once he actually knows how to play.
