It's just weird waiting until Sunday for the UCLA game. Didn't really check and made plans on Sunday so I could just sit around watching CFB on Saturday.

No, I promised the MIL I would come on Sunday to take care of a few things for her, thinking the game was on Saturday. (She's a Widow in her late 70's)

Like I said, I didn't check the date, only the time. (Realized it last night when I couldn't find it on Saturday to record it)

I'm guessing I'll be doing her yard work, did mine today after walking the dog early, so like it was for me today, I expect it to be hot when I do her lawn too.

I was in Salem for the Eclipse. Felt like a much smaller town than I had expected and I was surprised at just how small that capital building is. Much prefer the coast down there.

i didn't realize ucla was playing on sunday until i look at the schedules mid-day. can't remember when i last watched a sunday pac game, if ever

Sure, should be undefeated until we play $C but if that keeps up we only have 3 possible winnable games against the three teams who play no defense in the north.

Sounds easy enough, but we already told her we would be there around 3. (If you know old people, they can handle schedule adjustments very well). So, the the two ladies usually talk for a few hours while I take a couple of hours to do the work. I can't imagine leaving that work for her in this heat and she's on a fixed income so as the only able male around, I'm the lucky bastard who gets to be the 'good guy'.

Maybe I can be skirt out by 5, but it's an hour travel back home, so I'll be on delay no better than an hour and a half at best.
