8 YEARS OF BLISS AND 2 NFL HOFers for the redbirdz…your statement makes no sense.
I don't remember Stanford doing all that much during the 70's, 80's and 90's. It was usually USC, Washington and UCLA going to the Rose Bowl during those years.

they were pretty lousy throughout most of the 80s/90s (though they had some good teams in 91/92), but they had some respectable teams in the 70s. They actually had more Rose Bowls in the 70s than Washington. UDub became a national power in the mid/late 70s.

always liked Stanford, so it's been nice seeing them play well over the last 8 years. Harbaugh and Shaw did a great job turning them into a powerhouse. glad Washington's returning to relevance as well.

I didn't realize Stanford made it to two Rose Bowls in the 70's. Washington went to three Rose Bowls in the 60's, winning two of them but then the program went stale after that. That was during Jim Owen's coaching days.

Compared to Tucson? Yes. I miss the PNW, having 4 seasons would be nice.

We're cooking here in So Cal. I lived right on the beach in Newport for three years and never needed AC. I went to visit my cousin yesterday who bought the house from the person I sold it to and we were sweating our asses off.

I was in Salem for the Eclipse. Felt like a much smaller town than I had expected and I was surprised at just how small that capital building is. Much prefer the coast down there.

Damn, how is it the Pac 12 has two QB's that look like they have down's and asperger's syndrome in Browning and Darnold. Guess getting beat with an ugly stick is the key to success.

I wonder if Washington St. will lose to an FCS team for the third year in a row.
