It is not about the argument, it is about you ignoring facts, I have addressed every point you made so far, not to change your mind but to illustrate an alternative view. I notice you ignore anything I post that you do not agree with and do not have a reference to support your view.

I was at the end of my first marriage when the shit went down between UW and the conference and I remember it pretty well. There were several articles on it during that time including SI, the local beat writers, NYT, etc... You have your view and I have mine.

You have your view and I have an unclouded memory of that era, parents who sent me articles from the Seattle Times, and my own ability to read the SF chron and other papers in the bay as well as SI and other sources. Don James was a good coach and a good man, he did not have control of that team from 1988-1992.

Your argument on Ty is weak in that no matter his record at UW he did just fine at Stanford, a team with far less talent.

Even mentioning his name makes me want to vomit. TW is a complete fucking fraud and an asshat if you ever actually had the misfortune of meeting him as I did once. What a miserable person. The POS fraud spent more time on the golf courses around Seattle in the summer than recruiting and that's exactly why his teams were such a joke. The only reason Jake Locker was a Husky was because it was his dream school growing up and even with him as a QB. It certainly wasn't Ty's recruiting prowess. And Ty still found a way to fuck that gift from the football gods.

And I just took it easy on him. If I said what I truly felt about that joke, I'd be labeled a racist and all kinds of other horseshit. But so be it.....

Between TW and Barbara Hedges, the Edith Bunker of ADs, they turned the Washington football program into a smoking crater. I guess all we can say is "your welcome" to the rest of the NCAA football world because his reign of terror was finally put to an end, and nobody else would have to endure his fraud ass as a coach ever again. Lesson learned. Your welcome. The only schools I wish that shit on is Oregon, USC, and Bama. They're about the only ones that richly deserve the TW treatment.

Stanford fans can put your associate golf coach up on a pedestal if you want. Knock yourselves out.


And as I was about to click reply, I realized it would be better to remove two paragraphs I had typed up right there in the middle about how I really feel about the reasons his fraud career as a football HC at the power5 level continued as long as it did. But it's best to take the high road in this forum about it.

For those that want to cite the number of Stanford players leaving early, most are still completing their degrees. On the 6 year APR Stanford still has a 99% graduation rate. So even when they leave early, they come during the off season to finish school.
