Yeah... where do you think he'd end up? Texas? LSU? USC?

LOLAnd all your 20 year old halvsies.
Just sitting here still shaking from the two ass kicking's in a row. I have faith I Shaw though. Oh and I need to post daily so my WSU flair can fly, want to take my loss like a man.
Must be tough, SUB, since losing is not something Stanford has done lately.

He's gonna be that way until:

O starts winning
Hoke is fired
Helfrich is fired
Kelly loses his mind and leaves SF

or some blogger writes a fictional piece about Herrman's wanting out of Houston!

Chip Kelly could very well leave San Francisco due to the shit storm that is the Niners.
And that's part of the problem. Why don't I want Kelly back. because he jumped ship when things were rolling he goes and fails at Philly and so far is a failure at San Fran. He was never fully a college coach. boosters didn't like him due to his attitude. didnt like speaking or doing interviews. I appreciate him for what he did at Oregon but I don't care much for him and would prefer not to have him back at Oregon.

Every game has been telling so far this season for Oregon, but the next one should tell us a lot about Helfrich's tenure. If the ducks can regroup and get a W against Cal and you can see real effort out there it shows they haven't lost the kids and they are doing their jobs as coaches. If they lose, have kids giving up in the 3rd quarter, in-fighting, defensive players running into each other, etc, I'm not sure they can keep that staff.

It's not about this seasons record and you probably don't lose many recruits just because your team is down, but the threat of a coaching change very much impacts recruiting. If there isn't solid confidence that Helfrich is still going to be there the recruits start looking at their other options more heavily.

Several of the ones that witnessed that slaughter have said that loss alone won't make them drop their commitment because they feel like they can be a part of fixing things, but they are concerned over the stability of the coaching staff.

Of course the AD has come out in full support. He has to, even if they are looking behind the scenes. You can't let any recruit feel concerned over the staff.

If the ducks can finish out 4-2 (which would be the absolute best case IMO) then OD is back with his natty platter for next year, the coaches will have calmed the fires down, and the fans will put down their pitchforks. If they end up 2-4 or worse it's going to be a very interesting off season down there following the decisions over the staff and how all of it impacts next years class.

Hey Alaskaguy. Are you sure you haven't found every article about the Huskys to post? lol.
I'm liking this new guy. He's got great taste in news. :suds:

But you must excuse us a bit right now. It's kind of shocking for this program to be getting any mention from the national press. That's usually reserved for USC no matter how good or bad their doing and lately the hourly updates on McCaffrey.

He jumped ship because the NCAA was about to slap a show cause ban from coaching on his player buying ass.

Please stop with the fantasy that Chip left Oregon at the height of his era there because the NFL came calling. He bolted to the NFL because the hammer was about to drop on him.

I don't remember saying anything about him jumping ship because of the NFL. I don't remember saying anything that would say he didn't leave because of the NCAA and violations. had he stayed it wouldn't have been a show clause it would have been much heavier sanctions on Oregon than what they got. the lighter sanction on the school was because the person responsible had left. the show clause was because he wasn't under the NCAA anymore but they could stop him from coming back. he just as easily could have gone right away to an NAIA or JC and coached if it weren't for the NFL

Only too soon because its Oct and there are many games still to be played also UW is at 5 so im assuming this would take it to be everyone wins out Michigan loses to Ohio State putting UW in but wouldn't that make them 4 not 2 so they should play Bama right?

Ohio St. / Michigan winner will represent the B1G. Right now it's looking like Washington will be playing Bama in the Peach Bowl (#1 seed vs #4) if it all plays out.
