Seachickens are happy as can be with their oregon center. Captain of that line. You notice when he isn't in there.
Unger is quite good.

He was the leader of that line on the Dixon 07 Ducks.

Another what could have been season.

Man, Eugene knew how to tailgate! A lot of big grills and tailgating around Autzen last week. Let's see your tailgate w/September 11, 2014

I guess he was so blown away by the tailgating, he got knocked into the future! that tweet is dated tomorrow!

My understanding is he had higher profile offers, but took the Wyoming job because it was a "cultural" fit. He likes being in the sticks. I doubt he leaves unless Nebraska offers and I'm not sure that's possible because I think he had to fall on his sword there as a DC under Solich. I thought I remembered hearing rumors about putting his dick in the student body, too, but I'm not sure of that or anything

SMU maybe?
Higher profile or push?

Haven't been able to post this, but was extremely displeased with the performance by the Huskies against Eastern.

How difficult is it to defend the fade route against a D2 school? Seriously, like 4 of their touchdown passes were on the EXACT SAME PASS.

I understand that Eastern is not the run of the mill D2 school, but our corners looked absolutely pathetic out there against the Eastern WRs.

Also, to anyone who remembers, when Danny Shelton started t-bagging the Eastern QB in the 4th quarter I was honestly ashamed to be a UW fan. They might not have not even aired it because it may have been considered graphic. That is the most pathetic show of sportsmanship I've ever seen by a UW player.

Danny Shelton has been an absolute monster on the defensive line, but he should have been flagged for unsportsmanlike conduct after that sack in the 4th quarter.

6 sacks and 24 tackles in 2 games for a DT is seriously an incredible feat.

It was tough to watch. But EWU is a D1 school, not D2. FBS and FCS are both D1. Differences are amount of scholarships. The top tier FCS teams can compete with and sometimes beat FBS programs, even P5 opponents. Scholarships effect depth, which usually allows a FBS team to wear down a good FCS team.

Don't be too embarrassed. But I guess it depends on where you think the Huskies are going. We're a mid-level P5 team right now, so a top FCS school can compete, obviously.

I'm just glad we didnt play NDSU.

Obviously I don't know Bohl's inner thoughts, but that would seem like only a marginal step up. I don't know if he's really trying to climb the coaching ladder in his 50s. He's overqualified for the Wyoming job. He could have landed a B1G gig and nobody would have blinked. His resume compares favorably to Tressel's when he took over Ohio State coming out of Youngstown State. My suspicion is that he wanted something new to conquer in a place where he could go out and work without a ton of attention and Wyo was a deliberate choice.

I cant see any Pac schools making any coaching changes this season but maybe he bides times at Wyoming builds a couple good seasons then something comes open out here. Big 12 schools like Iowa State or Kansas maybe.

Maybe. I suspect if he wanted to coach a bottom tier P5 school, he'd probably be coaching a bottom tier P5 school right now, but you never know. Personally, I'd like to see him get a chance to fix Nebraska if Pelini can't pull it off. They've got to be getting tired of going 9-4 every year.

EWU took out Oregon State last year, Idaho in 12 and only lost by 4 to WSU, lost by 3 to UW in 11.
I aint gonna lie, Oregon is playing them next season and if Mariota is leaving and if Adams is back for them I am going to be sweating this game.

Everyone just straight up stopped scheduling NDSU. I don't think they play another FBS team for several years now. Turns out major programs don't like paying someone a half a million dollars only to get emasculated. The last game winning drive against K State last year was the definition of methodical.

I will go on record and say Oregon has zero to worry about playing ANY fcs school.

Mariota or not. The Ducks have had success with several different qbs.
