Both are tough games to make picks on as well. Ducks should win, but by 12-14? Maybe. And no one knows which team between stanford and USC is legit at this point.

Most teams played cupcakes week 1 so for those, it's hard to gauge their true strength. It's kind of a shame this USC/Furd game is so early in the year, but so be it. I'd avoid betting on it. Way too many unknowns and the line is about a pk. That being said it is @furd and that counts. So does their lines proven ability to slow down fast Os like Ducks and what USC is now running. USC has depth issues as well.

I'm leaning toward Stanford in a close one, but USC could win it if they get enough of a lead going early.

Both have questions, but to me the question will be turnovers. We know Sark lead teams are known to take more risks and they already showed last week discipline issues with penalties. If I leaned Stanford it would be under the impression they get at least a couple of turnovers.

Didn't the line go up to -16 last month for awhile at those books that take summer bets? I thought it opened around -13, early money poured in on Ducks, moved to -16, then came back down to -13, and now creeped to -12.

Maybe wrong here, but thought that's how it went.
